  1. Here I am! Before you tell me about this resonator delete, you reeeeally to get over yourself... 187k and yes, it leaks a little and the IAC is sticky and the cats are dying, but you will never question my dedication. I've spent hours in the junkyard rebuilding the front end twice, replacing the boot lid and the car is still ALIVE! Rejoice in THAT instead of bitching that it's not showroom condition. If I didn't care about it I would have let them take it away the FIRST TIME they totaled it and never thought twice. I ENJOY my 800m and let it run around instead of being imprisoned in a gilded cage. Things happen, whores without insurance cut you off and mess up your fender bumper radiator and bonnet, but you replace them and carry on. I've spent almost $9k keeping the car alive and to hear myself mocked is insulting. It's like an old war general with battle scars, not some prissy modern one that commands from afar

  2. Where are they?????????? Or where is it? i noticed my car hardly ever drips water when the A/C is on, even during muggy weather. Never have a problem with odours (I turn it off about 5 minutes before reaching the destination and let the coil dry out at max blower speed) so i don't think there's any trapped water.

I just am always reminded of the 92-94 mercedes S class evaporator that corroded itself to death and results in a $10k R&R when the holes become clogged and let water stay in the evap box, and i don't want to face a similar fate.

  3. I dont drive for fuel economy......my lead foot is too heavy to hold off the gas......besides, I'm addicted to the s/c whine..... :shifty:

I don't either... but I have to be nice since I need to do the radiator, reservoir, and one last heater hose. the last thing i need is having a hose burst especially since the 975 degree weather has just started to kick in. once i have those things (and the cats) done I'll be a little more comfortable.

stress on the transmission is another thing I worry about, especially at 185k. the fluid is changed yearly and never gets to the point of smelling burnt or even being dark... but the 1-2 shift is a little harder than it used to be and that's where I generally try to be the easiest on it. I'll let it go granny style until I'm up to 30-40mph and then get more aggressive after that. i don't want my tranny to go boom like someone on here....

  4. I really don't see what your gripe is, BHR - all the app does is DISPLAY information reported by OBD! I could be riding around with the special diagnostic thing from mazda connected and drive around all day and it would still just show data being collected by the ECU.

Nex thing I need to do is replace the right hand heater hose (the one that runs to a port near/under the battery) and the radiator (I have a small high pressure leak that is spraying into the fans, probably was caused by a small dent/ding when the grille got pushed into it when I had to replace the fender, bumper, hood) :starwars: battling with the burping is going to be FUNNNN... woooo :poopfan:

  5. I will tell you that although at times I have privately wished for escape from the heartaches and pain the expense of nursing a Miller back to near perfect health brings, that the total work and parts of almost $6k has been very well spent. I couldn't get a car this fun , strong-running and efficient for that money. I only wish more could be rescued like mine instead of sent to the grave far too early...

Oh, and is BHRa aware of my 2002 Bose sub, speakers and HU install? Lol.. I now have 11 speakers :shifty:

  6. :hmm:

How hard was it to change the injectors?

I didn't do it, I had a shop do it. It's a brand new car now aside from a leaking coolant reservoir. No misbehaviour and im getting 30-33mpg now doing 70 everywhere with the new plugs and packs. Even with weak/bad cats it's hilariously amazing how efficient the car is now. Hippies would die for this... I can't imagine what it would be like with new cats and o2s
