generally I buy gas at either shell or mobil.

but ONLY prem

You can put in what you want, but it will be your fault when it goes to hell.,

seaform can either do wonders or cause vacuum leaks to open up by removing carbon that has built up in the leaks, the best thing to do with high mileage is run some fuel cleaner through every 6k, and change the spark plugs more often

I have already changed the sparks and fuel cleaner. Like I said only once in awhile I will use midgrade. Use prem the rest of the time.

Fuck that, I use regular on a 10:1 engine and it's fine. The milly's 8:1 would be fine with 75 octane let alone 95. If you're putting in premium you're just paying to have worse gas mileage. Not to mention polluting the precats with hc's. And MC, it's worse to keep switching than to just stick with the lower octane.

If you're going on a long road trip, overinflate the tires, use regular gas and change oil before the trip. Besides that, make sure all bulbs work, and keep a spare for each one with the spare tire. Oh, and check pressure in the spare too.

I can't speak for other markets, but here, the premium fuels have additives which negate the need for injector cleaner additives etc. Piece of mind for any car I think, especially a car which requires premium to start with.

In the states we have Chevron and Shell which both have cleaning agents inside them. I use the premium fuel as well. I notice a difference with my 95L between regular and premium. Not a HUGE difference, however. My 96S is still under construction, but that will only smell premium when it's complete.
