My Head Unit Dilemma

Recommended Posts

i just need to install this JVC KD-G230 in my rx-7. i have wired (to the best of my knowledge) the speakers to the wiring harness given to me by JVC. it has 12 wires in the wiring harness. 8 of em are for the speakers (2 for each speaker) 1 is for the antenna trigger, one for a live terminal, and one for an accessory terminal. (the last wire is for ground). now the antenna wire (JVC calls it a 12V wire or some shit that should be used if u have a motorized antenna) i don't have a problem with. its the two terminal wires. where do i wire them to? i got the wiring diagram for the rx7 and it says in the stereo harness, there is something called the constant voltage wire and a switched voltage wire. i thought maybe those were the ones i splice into but to no avail. i would do it but the head unit would turn on (only when i press the eject button) flash, and then turn back off again. what do u think i should do? i can give u the link to the wiring diagram and also for the JVC instruction manual. maybe u don't have to see it at all. :P
