The new range-topping model will be based on the RX-8 RS that has leaked on internet sites ahead of its debut at this weekend’s Tokyo Auto Salon. The RS itself adopts subtle visual enhancements on top of the RX-8’s revised front and rear styling that will be showcased at next week’s Detroit motor show before both models reach Australia mid-year. Seldomseen
The RX8 never impressed me...it's a damn shame that a stock Si or RSX will skunk the stink out of an RX8. lol The car is a piece of garbage in terms of raw performance. mohamedeladawy@hotmail.com
actually...thats not true at all. rx8's can NOT skunk an SI or an RSX. they are as fast as an rx7 turboII.
ing-schu@online.no
It's not all about power. An old decent Corvette or AC Cobra will rape all cars mentioned, but still is an awful drive. There are very few cars around in the same league matching the beauty of the RX8's handling, apparently. I've only been seated in one, never driven it but so they say. Troutman
It seems to have been a reasonable sales success.
