Yes to Laser Platinum cause they are OEM (double platinum). No to G Power if you want to stay OEM. NO WAY to iridiums, they have fried most of the coils of another member of the other world.

NGK just wants to sell you whatever, if you want to check for yourself call your Mazda dealer and ask them for the OEM Millenia S spark plugs and they will tell you they are NGK Laser Platinums.

I ran the last set of Gs for nearly 1 year.... not too bad. But then again I change plugs before they need. It was a wonderful 5 hours in the driveway on Saturday. Millenia parts scattered all over the driveway. Changed the plugs, fixed the shifter linkage, re-wired my HIDs, cleaned K&N, re-did a couple vac hoses....

ahhh...but it is soooo worth it.....after Easter my ME will be getting a major overhaul and cleaning.... ... plugs, belts, wax, tranny seals, tranny cooler install, K&N filter cleaning, tire rotation, alignment, vacuuming, tow hitch install, leather treatment, carpet cleaning, more LED swaps in the interior, etc...

 ahhh.....I can't wait.....

I have no idea what 1601 would be, communciations error? Its not in my book

my book the one at BYU's library said communications line (ECM-TCM)

a s/c wouldn't cause an electrical communcations error

7psi in first, 14 in other gears, BUT I'm not sure its the boost thats the problem, its more the leaking, if yours is smoking badly then it would be leaking.

In my experience the s/c has very poor boost at startup, people who push the car to "normal" driving before everything is warmed up are the onces who get all the problems

well i replaced the PCV valve a while back so i am pretty sure it is fine

what most concerns me is when i pulled the EGR valve i found a few drops of coolant in it

could i have a blown a head gasket?
