Smallest Cars Fare Poorly In Crash Tests With Mid-size Models

This is something I've been saying for years, but the hippies and ghetto rats aren't interested. If all round safety is a high priority, there is NO OTHER type of vehicle that competes with a full size or mid size sedan. No rolly poly 4WDs, no compromised wagons, no little tin cans, no crumple zone-less trucks. A good small sedan like the Lancer is passable, but nothing smaller. The likes of the Fit have basically no rear crash protection for example. Buyer beware.
