1. tool bag with.... tools in it, a rag, jumper cables, wd 40, a funnel and other things but all in the bag.

2. my old starter

3. a bottle of antifreeze

4. a bag of bed sheets that ive been meaning to throw out (only got in my trunk because i thought it was clothing i was going to donate but took the wrong bag)

5. spare donut

6. soon my OEM radio will go from the backseat to the trunk

Depends which car...

 

The Xedos:

-OEM alloy spare, jack, factory tool set, emergency triangle

-case with spare bulbs

-detachable towing hitch

-jumper cables

-sponge with soap and wax

-magnetic L sticker

-couple of cotton cloth pieces under the carpet

-tan fleece blanket provided by MazdaCaddi (!)

 

 

Mazda 6:

-donut spare, jack, factory tool set, emergency triangle

-magnetic L sticker

-twopiece garden toolset

 

Hiace:

-OEM spare, jack, factory tool set, emergency triangle

-snowchains

-jumper cables

-used Xedos front discs

-SHIPLOAD of bottles, paper, clothing for donation, you name it.

This is a great idea for a thread.

 

1. spare tire

2. miscellaneous hoses and clamps tucked around spare tire

3. duct tape

4. AAA kit with jumper cables, tow hook, rope, etc...

5. spare oil

6. spare water for coolant (need to change to anitfreeze soon now that its cold...)

7. set of wrenches and the jack

8. portable tire inflator

9. subwoofer

10. paper towels

jesus, you people put things in the back seats as well? animals....

 

I have my speaker amp under the drivers seat, thats it.

 

Now in the Jeep

 

Jack

True tire iron

Choke blocks/spacers

jumper cables

socket set

flares

electric ice scraper

tow strap (30 feet)

air compressor

air ratchet

2 flashlights

knee-high rubber boots

shovel

3 knifes

axe

winch block

hitch shackle

several rags

work gloves

water

and 100ft of nylon rope, seriously, you always need rope when you least expect it.

 

All of this hidden underneath floor, and when I hit a trail for a weekend the roof rack gets loaded as well.

I drive mine the way it was mean't to be driven, I never ABUSE it by forcing it around with the peasants in there dirt, bumper to bumper filled hell hole, there is no greater abuse for a car.

 

I still carry a spare of course. Infact I even carry a full sizeish. Got a rim from a 97 and a bridgestone for the trip to MWM07, where I might add I drove the millenia a total of 970 miles, half of which in the rain

Saint - i have a target to be the body in my trunk... funny thing is ive told two people to get in my trunk at the same time........ and they fit. should of left them there but i didnt

Continuing my long tradition, I have the following in the Holden:

 

* Nothing

* Nothing

* and more Nothing

 

No spare wheel, no jack etc. There is of course the LPG tank and stock CD changer, that's it. Nothing must add weight.

 

You mean nothing but the thick steel walled 100 kg LPG tank??
