latinopikachu
Okay, all of you know I did the 1995 time machine rollback but I'm thinking of restoring teh 2000 model year wheels when I have to buy new tyres. I have these chrome ones. http://www.iautobodyparts.com/images/produ...alloy_wheel.jpg Do you know the size of that cap in the middle? I was going to replace them with these http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_reviews_...reviews_id/2996 bahahaha.... Do you think tehy'll fit? enginph
Holy! Eunos center caps? I dont think those dim caps will look good on a shiny rim. However I can measure the diameter.
Troutman
I see what you mean now. We went straight from the chromed-and-capless first gen wheels straight to Mazda-badged 17s with the Australian-delivered Millenia (aka US 01/02 model). It might take a lot of effort to tastefully do what you are trying to do.
latinopikachu
what do you mean tastefully? mine has caps that you can just knock out. at least i REMEMBER them having caps that knock out. i could always try and trade them for the darker S wheels. I actually like those better than chrome. ALSO........... how hot would you recommend i turn the oven so i can bake apart the headlights? I need to clean the damn projector orb. I messed up the mounts on the last housings I had and I REALLY don't want to go through that trouble again.
///BHRpowered
umm hell no, the center caps are around 1.5 inches or so, those eunos caps cover all the lugs don't they? no match
latinopikachu
BAHAHA. baked the headlights and I had to replace the stupid lenses with the other set frmo the messed up housing. For some reason the new ones were hazy and cataracted and I couldn't clean them.

Frankzao
what temp and how long? what glue did you use to put it back togehter?
latinopikachu
I baked them at about 230F for around 20 minutes. I didn't dare go higher because i didn't want the mounting tabs to melt. The plastic should smell slightly and be very uncomfortable to hold, but not burn you. You may have to pry up and then stick them back in the oven and then pry again. It worked great for me this time.
