///BHRpowered
With yesterday being the first warm, clear, roadsalt free saturday everyone with classic cars, sportcars, bikes etc was out on the road after a long winter indoors. I took the chance to bring the Millenia out for its yearly inspection, oil change, and a brisk 60 mile drive through the mountains. 57k on it now with everything 100% perfect and still like new. So where are all those people who said 'Drive it everyday" "Why have cars you don't drive" Where are they? are there rusted, broken down, forgotton, or neglected Millenia's sitting in a junkyard? or maybe they are sitting in a driveway with 200k on them, leaking, worn out and broken down no longer able to provide the same thrill they once did? Not me. My Millenia is as new or better, recently even had the resonator removed for some extra grunt. It will exist for generations in perfect form. Never seeing rain, snow, salt, traffic, or any temp lower then 65 or higher then 95.

latinopikachu
Here I am! Before you tell me about this resonator delete, you reeeeally to get over yourself... 187k and yes, it leaks a little and the IAC is sticky and the cats are dying, but you will never question my dedication. I've spent hours in the junkyard rebuilding the front end twice, replacing the boot lid and the car is still ALIVE! Rejoice in THAT instead of bitching that it's not showroom condition. If I didn't care about it I would have let them take it away the FIRST TIME they totaled it and never thought twice. I ENJOY my 800m and let it run around instead of being imprisoned in a gilded cage. Things happen, whores without insurance cut you off and mess up your fender bumper radiator and bonnet, but you replace them and carry on. I've spent almost $9k keeping the car alive and to hear myself mocked is insulting. It's like an old war general with battle scars, not some prissy modern one that commands from afar

ing-schu@online.no
My Xedos needs new rear discs, and the AC a tuneup. Part from that, running smoother than ever at 237k km. Needs some sandblasting and paint around the edges in the rear though. The black 5-speed has recieved no TLC so far, but main thing is she is under my wings. At 150k km she should still have a lot to give and is running strong. I seriously believe these cars were built to be used on a regular basis. Renboy
I don't care what anyone says, all Mazdas = Rust. Look at any Mazda that's north of 8 years old and you'll find rust on the body panels. The only ones that aren't riddled with automotive chicken pox are the ones that were oil sprayed proactively by owners on an annual basis. This of course applies to climates where snow and salt are present.
Troutman
To be fair, are there any cars which can resist this rust?
///BHRpowered
BHR's car has no rust, not to mention it has not seen salt, snow, sand, or road grime since at least 2004
