Mixedatlboi
I am trying to determine if i should trade my milly with 140k on it .. for a 2006 a4t ($26k) with 6k miles on it .. or a 2005 Rx-8 with 40k miles on it for $15k They both are automatics and how much should i look for a trade in value? Synesthesia
You should never get an automatic RX anything. The A4 is pretty nice, I've been looking at a few of them while in the service bay, but you probably need to decide what price range your looking at first you'll probably get 5-6k out of the millenia, maybe 8 if your damn lucky, but its alot of miles. Synesthesia
They are made, you can spot them by the smaller 16" rims
Troutman
If you want auto, RX-8 is not the car for you.
colbylamb2006
didn't you just acquire this millenia?
ing-schu@online.no
Audi's tend to be expensive to run, I don't recommend that brand to anyone. I'd keep the Milly in favour of both your options, and definitely go for a stickshift regardless of choice. Needless to say why in the RX8. Due to one item less to worry about in the Audi. ///BHRpowered
xedos, why are Audi's costly to run? I know in the early to mid late 90's the a4 and a6 had ALOT of true lemons
ing-schu@online.no
They've kept on producing lemons to this day, believe me. Or at least till a couple of years ago, it usually takes a while untill problems occur and statistics are reliable. Audi/ Volkswagen are two of the worst brands money can buy for reliability. And it is often NOT just small and cheap repairs. And not just my opinion either. The evidence is overwhelming if you bother to check it out. Renboy
Whenever i heard vw i recall overheating. Bettle is air cooled! Theri turbos always cause problems.. Old beetles were air cooled, the new ones aren't. The turbo beetle uses the same engine as the one used in the A4. And I know for a fact that turbo is oil lubricated and water cooled. I did a few K04 turbo swaps on those cars.
ing-schu@online.no
Turbo swaps? Sounds familiar, given the brand...
Renboy
These were performance improvements, not replaced due to malfunction. They just pushed more boost for more power.
street3890
If your looking at audi's get an S4, it's a 2.7L v6 biturbo produces 250hp stock and very good looking.

street3890
Not quite for an ok paying job. $10,900 http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?...leadExists=true
///BHRpowered
S4's can be had pretty cheap, even an 01 or so can be picked up for in the 20's, considering original list price, not bad.
