Thanks Graham, I was going to get into more, but a bunch of Black Russians and some Sambuca got in the way.

But biggest thing I can see with the MCE is that parts are getting rare, so if you play plan to have a problem getting stuff that could fail.

thatrs not an extra stroke , and that wouldn't increase compression that would drop the compression ratio... its still 4 cycle engine, My Fox body cam does that so i can bleed of compression from the 11:1 pistons.. who ever said its like a 5 cycle is crazy. there are a lot of enignes that do that, its not that uncommon,

But thanks for all the info you have help alot man, now for the BHR guy, he just needs to be shot..................lol

Unfortunately for BHR, I think 01Mazda has a point.

Maybe what BHR says is all 100% fact but I just don't like the delivery method.

Besides which, encouraging others to experiment might just find a way to unlock a lot of cheap power from a MCE - eg: 22psi boost but a new intake cam to make that inlet valve close later or earlier might produce a monster, but by discouraging people too emphatically, no one will ever find out.
