///BHRpowered
http://cgi.ebay.com/KEYPAD-COMBINATION-STA...1QQcmdZViewItem Thats right, pimp as fuck, just an extra level of security, despite all its current security since its stored at my parents house there is the possiblity someone might try to move it...no reason and they would be beaten, but still, I like the extra security, and just the pimp factor transportor style. Damn good price 2 I just need to find a place to mount it, on the 01-02 I would totally mount it under the cup holder, so you just flip the cover open and there it is, on the 2000...hmm ***Also, just so lat doesn't say anything stupid about this, here is another use. If you take your car to a mechanic or something drive it in yourself, or give the code to ONLY a service manager and have them do it, this way nbo tech will be able to take a joyride. enginph
Looks cheap should be hidden somewhere. Maybe into the glovebox. And should be able to be activated only if needed not all the time.
///BHRpowered
I wouldn't put it on velco or something, it would be semi hidden, maybe in the armrest. thats why I have to think about it, in the 01-02 its simple, concealed below cupholder lid. I wouldn't want it to only work some of the time, I want it functionaly, this isn't a honda. I think the best thing would be that as long as the key stays in the ignition it isn't needed, otherwise its sweet as hell. I don't want anything flashy, doesn't need to draw attention
///BHRpowered
I have always wanted the smart window roll down things. this feature was stock on my old infiniti and it rocked your remus off. And since I only drive the millenia with front windows down it works even better
enginph
You mean one touch roll down? isnt it standard on drivers door? The bad thing is there is no one button roll up, so stupid..
///BHRpowered
No, on the infiniti it was the front windows, but your right, it never went up. 99% of the time in the millenia I drove with front windows down and sunroof open, from march-october in other cars I drive with the front windows down, so this makes alot of sense for me, if added to the factory remote, I think I'll put it on when I strip the doors down to totally cover in dynamat
Graham
That's odd - over here, the window switch for the drivers door is a one-press for up + down. This seems to be a mechanical feature on the switch itself (you can hear an electro magnet switch off) so maybe you could adapt a non-US switch for this use. I assume it might be possible to do this for both drivers + passengers side. G.
enginph
How bout xedos? I dont care about passenger but definitely consider for driver..
ing-schu@online.no
On my Xedos the driver side goes down with a single push, but not up I believe. Will check it out, never thought about it. Windows not going up automatically might be a security issue.
Mase64
yea driver side mine goes down with one push.. not up
///BHRpowered
only driver goes down with 1 touch. the smart window would be both windows up or down by remote
MazdaMomma
my mercedes had automatic roll down of all windows and opening of sunroof with the push of 1 button on the remote... was such fun. Driver's side also had automatic up & down on the door. Never sat in the passenger seat but once...when Gotta called telling me he rolled the milly... ///BHRpowered
woah, I would not be buying the window module from him, I will be buying retail from tweeter and having them install it, under my watchful eye with a rusty chain of course
Graham
If you wanted that keypad, how about installing it inside the arm rest, with a black cover to completely disguise it.
///BHRpowered
The more I think about it, the more I would like to mount it in the pop out cup holder.
Frankzao
Thats a cool idea. Would suck not having that cup holder though.... You could mount it in the coin box.....
///BHRpowered
.....but drinks are not welcome in the millenia, nor is any food, on the rare occasion there might be an unopened diet coke, in which case 1 is plenty. I like the idea of putting it under the lid of the ashtray/coin holder, but not sure if there is room
