Shinta786
Can't you RENT a truck which is BIG enough to put all your stuff in and the Milly on it? Then drive to the other city and maybe they have a branch close to your new town to deposit the truck. lol. Poor Milly.....I drove once 1700km with the Milly (2 weeks with stops and rests) and the only thing when I came back home was the need for a new oilfilter. Thats all. No problems at all.Next time I went some place and just like 20km from home The temperature started rising. I stopped the car and saw WHITE smoke coming out of the engine. Opened the engine and saw RADIATOR LEAKING and a dead roasted pigeon lying there. But........driving should be FUN, but still a LONG WAY 2 GO. Good luck
enginph
Its 4000kms! With a truck i cant imagine how will it go..
Shinta786
Its 4000kms! With a truck i cant imagine how will it go.. yeah, you're probably right. Its way too far! 4000kms @ 100km/h is 40 hours driving.....its too much. I guess a transport company should be OK (one with a insurance). MazdaMomma
with a truck it would be much slower. especially over the mountains
enginph
After -13F in Ohio SoCal is like hell now.. Yes I got the milly in the end, it is really dirty with salt all around.. It wasnt that bad when i gave it, prolly open container+ road debris. It feels pretty sluggish, temperature sensitivity of MCE..
MazdaMomma
So, you are in Cali now Saint?

///BHRpowered
you can rent a uhaul and slap a trailer on, but then you would still have to drive long the distance
ing-schu@online.no
Yup, a haul would do the job. Like say... a Xedos.
///BHRpowered
if I had to move cross country I have very little stuff, would buy new things there, hook up a fully enclosed trailer to the Jeep, seal up the millenia, throw 2-3 bodypillows in the jeeps trunk for a bed and id just drive, audi can get shipped. enginph
Actually bhr thats what you should do. I looked at it today again in day light. There are some problems. The paint on the sides of the trunk is peeled. I assume they put some metal there to hold the car. It is horribly dirty outside. Not a big deal tough. And the fender wasnt that off: Even the dirtiest mech i have ever met didnt soil the trim that much: I reminded to myself tons of times but i forgot to set recirculate, and interior is full of dust. Actually its too much dust for a car with cabin filters, i was wondering if they keep the door semi open.. And it smells bad inside.. ///BHRpowered
umm, they wouldn't have put anything on the inside of the trunk, it would have been secured down by straps over the wheels, worst case is flatspotting. you would be suprised, people with dirty ass hands, just 1 touch. I make it a policy to always shower with in an hour of driving the millenia
Troutman
I had someone touch the Eunie the other day and upon arriving home, I realised with horror that the hand print wouldn't come off!! I tried scrubbing, quik detailer, even a double application of claybar. But then my Scratch-X polish did the trick effortlessly and all was well again.
