mts
Most Jeep forums are all about offroading though... skyjackers and 35inch or better tires. They are not usually into clean Jeeps.

Synesthesia
yeah, the only people who think its rice are the guys with 1800 dollar 93 grand cherokees, but a good 8k in off roading stuff, they don't even want tail lights on a car period

///BHRpowered
You have to remember there are people over there that thinking washing a jeep is a bigger sin then driving it on pavement. and I don't mean once a year, I mean never once in its life, and when it gets dirty to just add a fresh cost of mud. Those don't like it
mts
When I had my SUV I loved coming home with the only clean spots being the windshield wiper patten.... and would stay like that for a day or two. But then it got washed.
///BHRpowered
when I took my zj off road I would often get back home after dark, it would sit over night, I would take some pictures in the morning, but then a prompt 4 hour wash
Ikstej24
I was the same way with my Wrangler and the Limited. Get it muddy just to clean it. If people didn't like it I just ignored them. I can't understand why taking care of a Jeep is not a good thing. You will just be the one laughing at them when they have no brakes and their engine is ready to blow. If you look at the true "pros" their rigs are always spotless when they show up.
mts
When they show up... yes... I am not saying I never cleaned it... just not as eloquently as the Millenia. But you need to take care of the mechanical even more fastidiously if you want to offroad.
///BHRpowered
woah, no car, even my M and jeeps are not treated quite the same level as the millenia. For example the jeep is a daily driver, yet I only wax it once a month, polish every 3 and claybar every 4, as oppose to say, every single time I wash the millenia I wax it, and every other wash I claybar and polish. generally speaking the cars who think jeeps should never be washed do take extremely good care of the cars mechanically speaking, or they don't and wait for osmething to break so they have an excuse to upgrade it. Then there are the guys with 4-5 of them and atleast 1 they won't go anything but put some gas in once in awhile and change the oil if they need, but drive it through lakes or whatever and really don't care, if it dies they just leave it
mts
Everytime I went over the diffs, I changed the oil in them... just in case the vent got splashed with bog water.
///BHRpowered
its always recommended to change the coolant and transfer case fluid if you do a solid day of off-roading
