Troutman
Actually I have seen someone post red plate pics here in my time, possibly? Or maybe not.
enginph
Well i can understand people putting red to door interiors but why would you put red to license plates? Heck there are the taillights..
latinopikachu
still, i shall not install LEDs
Troutman
In fairness, there might be some aesthetic appeal in a uniform red rear end at night, with the number plate matching the tail lamps. That said, I'm more than happy with the white.
///BHRpowered
I'm not a fan of interior LED's on the door panels for the millenia, I do have them in the maplights, red, and they work well, but I perfer the lounge type style of hte millenia's halogen door
Troutman
Keep in mind warm white LEDs are now available so it would be hard to tell the difference. Red map lights?

Troutman
Warm white LEDs still have their advantages even if the look is similar... low current draw and minimal heat for example. That said, I'm about to downgrade my cluster lighting to incandescent because I've had a 3-LED 74 bulb die on me and it's a bloody annoying job to change it over. So there is no proper led for the cluster now?
Troutman
The white LEDs looked great while they lasted... too bright for the rest of the dash lights and I was always worried about them, but no issues otherwise. I used a combination of 5-LED 3mm/flux 194s x3 and a 3-LED #74. The 74 was pronounced dead at the scene so I think something like this will do, in blue.
