mts
RALLY YOUR DREAMS WITH MAZDA 15-MAY-2006 Have you got what it takes to be a rally driving champion? Mazda in conjunction with carsguide.com.au are giving you the chance to win the ultimate rally driving experience and compete in a rally event with the newly launched Mazda2 rally car. With its stripped-out interior, bonnet-mounted driving light pod with six lights, Dunlop rally tyres and roof-mounted air vent, the Mazda2 Rally Concept is ready to compete. Developed under the experienced rally eye of Mazda's motor sport manager, Allan Horsley, the Mazda2 Rally Concept features a full reinforced Bond roll cage specifically designed to provide crash protection while adding additional body stiffening to Mazda's smallest car. A rally prepared engine has increased power over the standard Mazda2 through a 1.5-litre 82 kilowatt engine, free flowing, 2.5 inch exhaust system. One lucky person has a once in a life time opportunity to experience the ultimate Zoom-Zoom rally driving training by champion rally driver, Rick Bates, and then go on to compete in the Canberra rally on August 4 and 5, 2006. Eight finalists will be chosen to participate in a full day's training at Oran Park, NSW conducted by Rick Bates. Each driver will be assessed on their driving skills before a final winner is selected. The winner will then be trained by Rick Bates to compete in the NSW Clubman Rally Championship held in Canberra during the first week of August. The NSW Clubman Championships is a national event organised by the Brindabella Motor Sport Club. All flights, accommodation and training are included and finalists will also receive a Mazda merchandise pack to remember their experience! Total prize value for the winner is $17,000. To enter the Mazda2 rally competition go to www.carsguide.com.au/mazda2-rally, take the quiz and then tell us in 100 words or less why you think you should be the next Mazda rally champion. Entries close June 16, 2006.
