SteveSter
P0300 is random misfires so its probly not just one. I also believe that Double platinums are stock (atleast on the 2.5) so you cant go wrong with that. -Steven

colbylamb2006
ok when i go to the dealership on friday, should i get my spark plugs changed? I haven't done this since I've owned the car, June 30, 2006. And it's been almost 50,000 miles at 137,
Matt64341
You probably should change the sparkplugs and wires, but I wouldn't pay the dealer to do that.

Frankzao
Nice link.... I replaced my plugs last year and have not even but 10K on it since. (Remember the coil pack problem I had?) I did it all then.... I am thinking I will have to replace the plugs and test the coil packs to see if one failed. Car has no pick up and gets 13 MPH..... ///BHRpowered
unless inproperly installed, or your leaking alot of oil on them spark plugs won't start to go bad for around 60-80k, but should be replaced BEFORE they start to go bad. If your having a rough idle, incomplete fuel burn etc and have 80,100,120k your way way beyond good plugs. sounds like another coilpack, but should throw a code. Frankzao
NDD it should throw a code if it's a coil pack..... but alas it only throws the P0300......
