Troutman
When removing my kit from an aborted installation attempt in the 500, a plug fell off and clearly can't be re-used. Does anyone have any suggestions for tracking down another one? I believe it's the one from the balast to the capsule.
Renboy
Are you sure it can't be reused? I've had to rewire a few things in my mx6 and found I could disassemble the connectors and reuse them. An example was my distributor, it had a 6pin and a 3pin connector, I turned it into 2 4pin connectors (one wire wasn't used) so that it would look stock and I could use the jspec distributor. mts
Exactly, usually you can take a very small flat blade screwdriver and work the metal clips out of the plastic, takes A LOT of patience
///BHRpowered
you could try that, however it looks to be the standard aftermarket hook up, should be many on ebay, but you might need a complete set. I MIGHT, and I mean MIGHT have an extra plug like that laying around in my old hid stuff, should be able to be spliced in. I will check when I return home and chug some nyquil

Troutman
Perhaps more of a Latino thing. Ren/MTS, we did try but it appears these are a crimp-once item. BH, if you can find one with a wire attached that would be great! Otherwise the plan is to simply get rid of the plug altogether and solder it directly. It just means cutting and re-soldering the same wire would be required each time the capsule is changed.
mts
Ah, but replacement parts are available at electronic shops...
Renboy
I can't remember the site, but I know you can purchase plugs. They send you the male and female plug, in which you put what ever wires are needed. These are also sold in various sizes (# of wires) and I believe colours too. I've never used them, but I did look into them before I managed to reuse the stock Mazda ones.
