Listened to two Sirius units on the way down to Florida last week. One was installed in our Magnum, the other was my S100 Sirius portable. With satellite, you've got the best playlists made by people that know the genre. I actually use it to pick out MP3s I want to download, best way to find new music. Plus, if you get the S50 or S10 or S100, you can permanently download songs. The capacity isn't up to Ipod standards yet, but it will get there.

How is Sat radio more versatile? It is programmed.... were the iPod is self programmed.... maybe has more channels and you have technically more music available.

BHR I like the AVB shows too.

yes, but sirus sucks ass and has no trance channel, and even if they did, XM has the top 10 dj's in the world, hell armin van burren even has has own show for 3 hours where he can do and play whatever he wants

BT starts his show on Sirius on Area 33 tomorrow night, similar to van buren. XM has no break-beat/mash up channel. I've had both Sirius and XM, BPM was ok at best. Electronic variety imo is heavily in Sirius' favor.

jdubs, yes they do, channels 82, sometimes 84, and there is something in the high 30's I think.

82 is the system, they run different stuff all day long, during the day its more mainsteam, at night they bring in the big name guest dj's (including bt even though his latest stuff sucks) and they'll play what they like.
