Seldomseen
Has anyone ever used Zaino's leather conditioner? I've used Blue Magic and Lexol...and while both seem to work pretty well, I'm interested in trying Zaino's product. It always get's great reviews for how well it actually works, and how it smells like fine leather. I'm looking for a leather conditioner that works great on black leather. ///BHRpowered
alot of people liekd there wax years ago, I never really saw the appeal, especially over meguiars, generally thats also who I use for leather, in the jeep and audi I still do, but in the millenia I'm going to lexol
MazdaMomma
why lexol?
///BHRpowered
its a 2 part system, cleaner and condition, brings alot of chemical cleaners from other brands out of the leather, then softens and even reduces creases by replacing natural oils. a bit o nthe expensive side, so I only use it from the millenia, and maybe the audi when it comes time

Seldomseen
I've been using the Lexol leather conditioner for the past few years now...no complaints. But I heard the Zaino leather conditioner was works very, very well, and that it smells great too. It supposedley brings back the new leather smell. ///BHRpowered
generally you should never do it in winter, doesn't really help. whenever I do it I pick one of the hottest days of the year, let the inside cook a bit, then smear a bunch all over and work it in, then do NOT wipe off excess, let it sit in the sun with windows shut, allow the pours in the leather to open up and soak in the conditioner, then at night after its cooled wipe away the excess, much better results

///BHRpowered
you could just turn on the seat heaters and hte heat a bit, but I perfer not to do it in winter, mid fall at the latest, then first really hot day of spring. In the cold the leather is more prone to cracking, but your ass will heat it up, its the summer sun it needs the most protection from
Troutman
Tints are an important step there, and I also use a windscreen shade when it's parked outside.

///BHRpowered
tints may help, but the interior still gets hot as fuck, and even though the millenia has 20% tint, and higher quality tint, I won't be taking any chances

Even 100% tint all around will heat more than UV film in just windshield.. Why does xedos never get hot even under extreme sun?

Troutman
I hasten to add that parking in the sun at all is only an extreme-case-scenario event. But the combination of tints and windscreen shade does as much as one can ask for really...
///BHRpowered
during the summer time a sunshade makes a huge difference, but I strongly perfer to merely park in shade
Troutman
Of course; the sunshade is merely a backup plan in case of emergency.

Seldomseen
I may get some window tint...but it's tough finding a good shop that wont do a sloppy ass job laying down the window film! I'd want something fairly light, with minal metallics in the film...the dark, dark tint looks like baboon ass.
