///BHRpowered
Wondering what everyones long term plans are. I still quite firmly plan on aqquiring an 01-02 S, If things go according to planned it could be as early as spring. Really the only issues are how the Audi comes along. But @ 10 years out of production its getting harder and harder to find what was hard before - yet at the same time certain parts like pads/rotors/coils etc are becoming easier and cheaper to find. Wondering.....what it be worth while to purchase a parts car?
Troutman
You may find it's many years before any parts are really hard to find. I also found many parts were interchangable with 626s and other models.
latinopikachu
as painful as it is, there are always salvage yards
mazda-fla
I've been having a lot of luck finding junkyards that have lots of Millenias on the lots, most in very good condition. The cost to repair these cars is so high, that once an owner has a problem that is going to cost $1,000 plus, they junk the car. But other than that one problem, the rest of the car is great. Lots of stripable parts.
///BHRpowered
That is a good point, and more will be in junk yards, but for someone planning on keeping at least 1 and ideally 2 millenia's for another hundred years I feel like having a parts car could be a good idea

///BHRpowered
A palm Pre is like a millenia. Nothing like it before or after, years later its still of higher quality and style then even current competitors, never liked by hippies because its not mainstream enough, and yet a thing of beauty
Frankzao
So you are saying i should not add 2.5" tubing, a Magnaflow exhaust, and resonator?
///BHRpowered
incorrect, You should. Though I'm mixed on the resonator, thinking about removing mine and seeing how it sounds
Frankzao
the guy at the shop says without the resonator it will sound loud; loud enough to hear over a radio in the car.......
Troutman
I would think twice about that. You have to live with it.
