cuto
So... trademotion has it all for us europeans, but , as far as i'm concerned customs will put a really heavy load on prices. I've found some pretty interesting parts sites for my car (service parts mostly): www.oscaro.es- has around 180 parts for Xedos 9 www.nipparts.com - Biggest european company in Japanese parts...i mena..they are HUGE, but they don't sell online...so, on to the next. www.buypartsby.co.uk - They sell nipparts...and a bunch of other brands. Here's a complete timing belt kit (found that nipparts is a OEM replacement for Mazda parts) Tensioners | MAZDA > XEDOS 9 > 2.3i Model 2WD / 4X4 Import? Product Group Product Name Part Number Part Info Cost Tensioners Timing Belt Idler J1143009 2 REQUIRED £11.33 Tensioners Timing Belt Idler J1143035 £65.33 Tensioners Timing Belt Tensioner (Hydraulic) J1143022 £82.13 Timing Belts | MAZDA > XEDOS 9 > 2.3i Model 2WD / 4X4 Import? I have found that on nipparts a timing belt kit will cost me about 400 Euros, Mazda asked me 1.500 Euros. There are a lot of Russian and Ukranian sites, but none did answer my mails. Because I don't know French or Spanish at all!!! I'll be very grateful if you'll find it!!!! On their sites, they only ship to their countries, but after emailing them i was told they ship for the rest of Europe, it's a matter of filling postal codes with zeros and leave the shipment adress on a note. Dunno if they ship outside Europe. Where are you from? If you're in the States, you should go with www.trademotion.com, oscaro is not the best site EVEN in europe. The german and UK ones are really better. P.S. OMG you are in Ukraine!!!! Damn! You have the best part sites there! http://partmaster.com.ua/en/?action=catalo...mp;added_=MAZDA http://auto.emarket.zt.ua/car-parts/foreign-parts/3 http://www.mazdaparts.kiev.ua/mazda/mazda_no_vin.pl http://avtoparts.com.ua/24/pAll/Catalog.aspx Damn...i can´t even remember how many sites from ukraine i came acroos my searches. In russia you have this AMAZING site: http://www.japancars.ru/cat/mazda/index.ph...=AETA03&h=L Damn..i wish i was there! Best place to buy parts for the Xedos. ///BHRpowered
really? I know there were a fair amount of xedos in russia for some reason, including rumors of the largest shipment of 5-spd ones, but parts? have to check this out, but the shipping to the US is a problem
ing-schu@online.no
This is awesome, members joining in worldwide! The best way for parts supply is if a local member purchases the parts, and then ships them as private gifts, to avoid being raped with VAT and customs. Using paypal, this works perfect. Speaking of 5speeds, I suspect a batch of 4WS models reached eastern Europe, do you know anything about it Xedos9? I traced a rear steering unit(!) in Sweden, see

It's really easy to find any part in Ukraine! Cyrilic keeps me off. I can´t explore those pages (google does not handle pull down menus very well). ///BHRpowered
I'm really suprised there are parts in the ukraine, I thought that was some place the millenia/xedos wasn't really carried. mts and I discussed in length about retrofitting a non 4WS car with 4WS parts. He had a power steering leak - on the back end of his car, apparently the lines are already run on his, so I assume all NA millenia's. there is a bar holding things in place, in theory if you just removed it and fitted the steering unit, combined with most likely a relay and a plug in to the car it should work. the only way to know for sure is to get EVERY thing involved with it and try it. If I had some more funds I would sure want to try
ing-schu@online.no
Yes. Surely there must be some 4WS control unit as well. This is my shortlist of probably pure bolt on mods: * 5-speed tranny with KLZE and 2,0 flywheel (2,0 donor car or simply buy a 2,0 to modify). * 4WS * Trip computer * Millenia front passenger seatframe or just motors, for added heigth adjustment. * Eibach springs Not pure bolt on: * Stainless headers and catback mildly sporting exhaust. * 98 ron optimizing of ECU. * Bored throttlebody. Of course I already have the retract mirrors, rear swaybar and towing ability. Sorry, slightly off topic By the way BHR, you'd probably be surpriced if visiting eastern Europe. Men in good taste are found worldwide. Even in USA.
///BHRpowered
that just means it would be harder to put hippy cars on the road I imagine 4WS involves hooking up the lines, getting the unit (which I assume is 1 all-together unit, not 1 for each side) a control box, and route it into the ECU somewhere, it has to plug into it at same point so that it knows how much and which way to turn the wheels based on speed. still looking for retractable mirror switch...I thought finding the mirrors would be the hard part, and if that fucker fucked me god damn it.... But the thing is that WWW.AUTO.EMARKET.ZT.UA is for Used Auto Parts and parts are not in good condition.I had deal with them! WWW.PARTMASTER.COM.UA has a huge price for parts and plus you need to order most of parts! Your order takes to get to Ukraine from 2-3 weeks or more depending on what part you order! I had call them today! WWW.JAPANCARS.RU It is in Russia. I have E-mail them where I asked them if they could ship to Europe. So as soon as they'll answer me I'll let you guys know!!! WWW.MAZDAPARTS.KIEV.UA It is Ukrainian Mazda Centre and I had deal with them too! They don't care too many parts for Xedos 9 because like they told me - NOT MANY XEDOS 9 COMES TO THEM TO DO REPAIR BECAUSE OF WORK PRICE AND PARTS PRICE!!! I was first who came to them in last 2 years. Plus Officialy in Ukraine was sold only 25 cars of Mazda Xedos 9!!! My car one of them!!! In USA I know this website WWW.TASCAMAZDAPARTS.COM where I called too and they have alot of parts plus they can ship worldwide and price is good too!!! ing-schu@online.no
Xedos.. you have the retract mirrors ? How bout' a video!? Here's mine...posted somewhere on my 1st topic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCI6l0U-b_M And here is my video, enjoy Retract mirrors Funny Xedos9, if your best bet for parts so far is from USA! Not all Millenia parts fits though, and our cars have some parts never fitted to the Millenia! If anyone wonders, I can confirm that 01 onwards Millenia pollen filter fits Xedos 9 pre 01, like my 00 model. Also, KYB GR2 rear shocks fits 00 Xedos, though it is listed for 95-96 models only. I have them and they are great, better quality than the stock items which failed me at 50k kms, the right one making a funny noise which I drove with till they started leaking at 110 k kms. The Kybs are now on 57 k kms and still in perfect condition. My rear shocks takes some punishment, refer to my signature pic lol. They get used to bottoming out frequently to put it that way. Ain't no carcapsules in my garage. She is recently washed and waxed and has fresh Magnatec oil though. Resting after a 1700 km's christmas trip, completely embarrasing a brand new ESP'ed Landcruisers cocky owner but that is another story. Thread coming up
xedos9
I am not saying that in USA is the best price and I know that not all parts from Millenia fits Xedos 9.But the price of parts what I was looking were twice cheaper than in Ukraine! For example I ordered from USA through EBAY Foglights for $170 pair. In Ukraine Best offer I got $320 pair. And right now in Ukraine because of the global crisis the price went up. So what you see on your computer could be an old price!!!
cuto
Damn...i bet prices there are even higher than here now on mazda dealerships...I can get nice prices on www.trademotion.com but customs will double the cost for me. So I'll stick to the sites i posted for service parts and www.xedos-shop.de for used parts.
///BHRpowered
thats a sweet vid, and damn you and your trip computer. I must have it. as for parts, USA has the MOST parts, and certainly the best prices, but we don't have the rare stuff other then really the ME which I believe was sold only in NA. damn mazda usa and mazda usa dealers. thinking they know what we don't want. Given you can switch the display from F to C you should be able to switch from MPG and KPG.
