I'm not sure where mts's midway hotel is, but most people coming from nj/ny...if they come are looking at a 5-6 hour drive, so I guess thats cool. I'm flexible, so whatever works, but 2 sounds good. How far is this bob evans from the actual meet location/cabins/hotel

it is a total of 3 hours round trip for me.

And the only reason I get to do this is because Gotta and I were planning on this trip before it was a meet.

I, for one am more than happy to chip in anyway. You will have to go out of your way at some point...then there's the extra weight (Xedosman) that will add to fuel consumption. I appreciate you allowing us to tag along so please just accept the contribution. thumbup1.gif

Indeed. I suggest we pay the gas; what the hell, it's practically given away anyway, MTS provides the ride.
The engineers hoped to modify the boot lid in order to minimize wind resistance. The easiest method involved attaching
a rear spoiler, though that would detract from the vehicle's lines.
Alternatively, the lip of the lid could be enlarged, though that would require significant more work. Naturally, the team chose the second approach, and set to work in a wind tunnel lab in Miyoshi. A while later, they emerged with the hoped-for design, which was both aerodynamic and aesthetically pleasing...

2000 Xedos 9 2,5. Stock features: push-a-button retract mirrors, 1500 kg towing capasity, tranny cooler, rear swaybar, pollen filter, roof rack mounts.

Ported heads, knifeedged IM, dropin K&N with wheelwell airduct.

xedos makes a good point, now while I admit the increase in gas sucks ass, I'm tried of hearing hippies complain, we have long had the cheapest gas in the world, right now prem is about 3.25-3.35 a gallon, around july it will be about the same, hit a low of maybe 2.20 though...of course I was always a fan of the tried and true system which stood for years. Regular was 99 cent, mid grade for 1.09, prem was 1.19. Its very simple, kill off all the people that shoudn't be here or driving, in 1990 we used only 20% as much oil in the u.s per day as we do now.

I project my estimated cost to attend to meet with be about 295 dollars, factoring in 4 tanks of gas at roughly 3.05 a gallon, 1 night hotel stay, misc food expenses, including chipping in for a bbq but supplying the charcoal myself.

Of course there is also the 1300 or so dollars worth of stuff I want to get done before hte meet.

I project my estimated cost to attend the meet will be around 2250 of your USD, factoring in passport renewal, travel to airport, flights, accommodation, insurance, spends, miscellaneous food expenses and fuel costs.

fuel is now $3.32 per gallon now (high test)

We can meet at the Bob Evans at 5 pm then?

That puts us arriving at 7:30 or 8 pm at Carter Caves.
