  1. When your driving thats all you should be duing is driving , not talking or texting on your cell phone , wolfing down a meal , applying makeup , drinking that super mega ultra super sized big gulp cola searching for your : CD , tape , radio station , remote , cell phone , that french fry you dropped , napkin , ketchup packet , that 5th of Jim Beam rolling on the floor or a cup holder for that super mega ultra super sized big gulp cola or coffee.

  2. not my thing, people think its "cute" and therefore some how green, meaning weak and people won't actually buy it

Can't see how they think it's green with all the petroleum products they use to make all the different kinds of plastic.

  3. I blame Bush because he has made this nation look like retards who cant finish a sentence with proper english (search Bushism's). Also I dont work for Chrysler I work for a supplier to Chrysler. If I worked for Chrysler I would have not even posted a comment as they get 95% of thier pay when they get laid off and I have to settle for a mere $330 a week which equals about 43.9% of my regular pay.

As for automotive engineers that make the decisions on what goes into a vehicle they are all idiots.

    BLAU!!

I know I am raising this post from the dead put I just want to add my $.02 The reason car makers use the clear plastic sheet covering the door is to keep moistuer out of the passenger compartment. Covering the door with dynomat is cool just reuse the plastic to cover the holes or cut out pieces of plastic and tape them over the holes.

As for which part of the door to dynomat well that depends. This is how I prefer to do it :

For total isolation do all 3 surfaces 1. Door skin 2. Trim mounting panel 3. Only if you are a serious SQ competitor. The trim panel itself (You can use acoustical foam instead of dynomat if you prefer)

    or

Door skin (since this is the panel that is going to vibrate the most due to its large surface area) and a 12" piece mounted to the trim mounting panel sandwiched between the speaker (or speaker mounting panel) and speaker hole itself (to dampen speaker vibrations) with a 12" piece of acoustical foam mounted directly behind the speaker on top of the dynomat on the door skin.
