anybody good with wiring? i have a clarion headunit in right now, and i want to see how this alpine sounds before i sell it, the harness for the alpine is obviously a diffrent one, here are some pictures of the current set up and the alpine harness

how much do they charge to stick a item on there
not to mention, how much would shipping run on the subs in a sealed box, a amp and a head unit

the local stereo places rape you as well, they offer like 30 to 40 for the head unit, basicaly the same for the amp and subs

sounds very good indeed, but i dont really care for subs anymore to be honest, ive tried selling it to friends but theyre low balling the fuck out of me, one friend offered 140 dollars for the entire system! give me a break!

got 4 new speakers in, everything sounds great problem solved, not to mention, the stock speakers were only meant to handle 40 watts max, the headunit puts out 53, so that along with the 2 ohms all had a say in it

this will be my first time with all new speakers in a car i never replaced facotrys before, cant wait to see what it sounds like later

well in the mazda i had the non bose system so it was fine

basically i have to replace all my speakers now, the amp i have can only run 2 speakers at 2 ohms, so the only choice i really have at this point is to by 4 new speakers, fuck! stupid nissan and theyre 2 ohms speakers

maybe distortion wasnt the right term, because if i go outside right now and turn it on and all the way up, it sounds pretty good when turned all the way up, but then after a few mins of playing, it will sound like it wants to die out like as if the speakers are getting no more power, almost like sitting in your car with the car on without the engine running listening to the radio for a hour, after the batterys almost drained you hear that static output in the speakers because the powers dying, its like that, i think im gonna drop my car off at tweeter before i go to philly, ask them about it and have them install the amp

turns out another part of this is that the none bose stock speakers in the altima are 2OHM instead of 4, so will installing my amp solve the problem, or do i need all new speakers instead

well i do have a mtx amp in the garage, would that fix the problem, i also noticed, that when i turn the balance all the wayt o the right or left, it gets better, or when it put it all the way to the rear or front the distortion goes away
