i just got a new clarion headunit installed yesterday, and it would seem that when i turn it up really loud the speakers get distorted and sound like theyre going to die out after a couple seconds of it being that loud, what is the problem, i have a head unit and 4 factory speakers, do i need my amplifier installed?

whats the average install price? i know you can also order the seat covers through the install places, but what is it just for the install if you bring your own covers in do you think? i heard anywhere from 250-450

take the headliner off and throw some insulation type stuff up in there

try pressing up on it a few times, sometimes its just a piece that needs to be moved/cracked to make it go away

no i never dynamatted the car, the only thing i did was stuff some towel under the rear deck lid, and even after that, new rattles formed, its inevitable if you have a system, not to mention because were in the northeast, all the contraction from winter weather to summer weather messing with the plastic!

it sure is, im upgrading to leather in a few months, probably by the end of summer, the dealer wanted 3,000 for the leaher package fuck that, not to mention nissans leather is supossidly shit, so im getting a katzkin leather seat cover set for 649 and installed for 200-400 at a local auto shop, intake sounds like a beast, cant wait for a 80 90 degree day to really hear it roar

I'm kinda surprised at how Altimas, Maximas and Sentras have evolutionized. My mom has a 2001 Altima (2nd gen, I believe) and it's nothing compared to the 3rd generation of Altimas.
indeed, the 2nd gen altimas were ugly as shit to me especially the back of them, they really outdid themselfs on the 3rd gens, same with the max's

some squeaks on the interior
im a blood hound at finding squeeks and rattles in the interior, i fixed about 5 in the millenia, the hard part is finding it, once its found, theres always a cheap fix, the only one that ever bested me was the rear deck lid, whenever i would fix it, a new one would start

i actually just ripped it right out of there with no proble, took the negative then positive off and poof, mission accomplished

when taking my system out, is there any precautions? obviously, unhook the battery, i have to take out a capacitor, amp and subs, and the ground wire thats under my rear seat, im not trying to get shocked and blown 20 feed across the driveway
