  1. I indeed like it, and not a fan that the 05-10 grand cherokee copied it.

the keys are nice, but bmw didn't start until later, it can cost around 80-120 to cut a key.

99milly - all you need to do is get 2 remotes and go TO A DEALER, they'll charge you like 50-85 bucks, but will program both remotes...You MIGHT, and I mean might be able to use the programming guide here

    http://www.mazdaworld.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1229

And try to program more remotes, all you need is a key for the ignition.

FYI - when I bought my millenia NEW it came with 3 remotes, 1 master key, 2 other keys, and a special metal plate with the key number cut on it to get a replacement if needed.

3 remotes? wow i got screwed, this 2nd key doesnt even work, i dont even know what to do. That's expensive to get replaced, but might be the only thing to do!

  2. haha at least it still works. When i bought my millenia (used) The dealer gave me ONE key, ONE keyless entry and a set of keys/keyless that didnt even belong to my car, now if i unlock it from the driver side the alarm goes off so i have to go to the passenger side to unlock it. It's really a pain in the ass. My dad fixed the remote, then lost it, now i dont have the # to buy a new keyless, and god, if i lose my car key im screwed. I heard it was around 120 to get the milly key cut cuz its a "side winder" or something

  3. I really can't explain what it is or sounds like, but I definately know somethings wrong. When i am doing between 40-50km/h (because i live in canada, its in km/h) the wheel doesnt stop shaking, it almost gets to the point where it seems like its going to fall right off. I have had the axle replaced on the same side no more than 6 months ago, and there's now way it could be that again, i hope. Plus, when im driving at 60km/h, and i turn the wheel ever so slightly to the left, it starts almost bumping and its not a good or safe sound or feeling when it happens. Any suggestions to what it might be? oh and i forgot to mention that that rim is bent, but i dont think that has anything to do with the knocking.

  4. not the biggest fan of thin spoked rims on a milly. When I bought mine the rims were painted almost a gun metal grey, so i said "sweet" and havent changed them since, but ones bent so i need a new set, and they definately dont come cheap, and the stocks are extremely hard to find.

  5. Philips are quality, but 600 is a bit steep.

The rule is if your going to run reflector you use 6000k, projectors you use 4300k, infact you should only use 4300k all around, but some people like a bit more color. The best thing for you to do is go on ebay and find some used OEM ballasts, then some bulbs and a wiring kit, about 150 or so all together, but you get OEM quality.

If you change the fluids as needed the nthe s/c will be fine, some people have had theres go around 100k, but it was owner, or previous owner neglect. Other people have gone almost 300k on it, either way PSE will rebuild it for 1300, a bitch to install, but worth it to save.

The JET chip runs about 350

chitown charges about 140 for the intake and you supply filter (35-90)

a custom exhaust will cost about 250 + muffler and a high flow cat if you choose, figure 120 for cat, and anywhere from 100-400 for a muffler.

I would also recommend some eibachs.

As for my retrofit, It can't be recreated, even if I somehow managed to get ahold of the parts I'm not sure if even I could recreate it, I had to build a cable support system behind it and the whole shroud is under a bit of tension.

Yeah, see i've looked everywhere for the projector lenses and cant find them anywhere, maybe a scrap yard might have them, i never thought about that, im at almost 170K and the supers still kicking. The prices are within reason to what you've told me. Ive been doing regular oil changes, tranny fluid, when i got the used one it was changed, and thats about as much as i can remember. I would love the philips hid kit, im prettty sure they come in everything now, bmws, benz, buick enclave, everything, and they're awesome, i know the acura 3.2tl (99-03) has the reflector 6000K and they're nice. Im going to get all of that done within the next few months, winters approaching and it'd be a shame to do it then. Thanks tons!

  6. yeah i saw your pics on cardomain and it looks great, its just time. I don't have it. So far, the xenons arent bad, i ordered them off kijiji from toronto. I dont usually run them during the day and I barely drive at night. They MAYBE stay on for an hour a day, if even.

Secondly, Thank you for the answers. I was lookin at the philips 6000K HID kit, and they're around 600$$. I don't have that money right now, going to school, paying tuition and books and such kill my wallet. I'd rather put 600 into the car itself. I have changed the tranny already, spark plugs and wiring, timing belt, serpentine belt. Let me mention too, and im sure youve noticed, the milly likes to burn oil like crazy! Not to mention im lucky if i get 500KM a tank. If then engine goes, or the s/c for that matter, i dont know what im going to do!!!

  7. Hey everyone! I am just starting to try to upgrade my 99 millenia. It is the S model.

I am looking to upgrade the supercharger if not soon, then next spring forsure. Anyone know if I need to get a special super or will any work? what is the psi on the stock supercharger? What kind of upgrades am I looking at if I decided to upgrade the supercharger, to the engine, tranny, etc.

    AND

does anyone know where i can find projector housings for the millenia? my reflectors are good but im really looking for a longer/wider beam then what I have now. I recently bought a new set of 50W HID's and want to really show them off haha

    Thanks everyone!

  8. I'm 98% sure that g35 rims will fit, at MazdaWorld Meet 2007 we had a member show up in a g35, we were going to test fit some rims to a millenia but didn't get a chance, if the backspacing is good then you should be fine.

Thanks a lot to both of you! I am going to buy them and install them eventually before winter, my stock rims are bent (the front 2) at least and need new for winter.€
