just noticed what was going on here. glad all is resolved street!
-
does this work with vista or should i not even waste my time downloading?
-
so the shop will have to install a 2.5" ID resonator as well? since the stock one is 2.25...
what about an ebay cat?:
-
i trust the almighty MTS and will get 2.5 in and out.
the remus i got is called the twin angled. sometimes referred to as the twin 42.
-
so my remus is on the way but i am still unclear what cat to buy. On magnaflows website they listed the inlet and outlet of the cat for the milly 2.3 as 2in. is that correct? I want to do 2.5 in piping, should i get one with 2.5" inlet and 2.5" outlet? any info is appreciated or if someone already has one i can just get that one....

the tweeter isnt wired up yet. i will look into hooking it up with the bose system but am planning on upgrading the sound this summer at which time an aftermarket tweeter will go in the 01-02 covers.
I got mine from a part car but you can order the covers from tasca for $15 each, i dont think that includes the speaker. part #T060-69-111D right, T060-69-171D left. i dont have a part number for the speaker..

whoever can find the new mod in this pic gets a pat on the back.

NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT!!
cant wait to have one of those babies parked next to my milly..damn economy.

Starter is a friggin' bitch to get out. lots of skinned knuckles
the starter on the 2.5 is a piece of cake however.
i just replaced a door actuator on the rear door, PITA. stevester, didnt you need to do this too?
Can you do the starter from above, or do you attack it from under? On the S it is done from above, but is much easier once the rear intercooler is removed. Maintenance manual omits that part
you take out the battery and battery tray and its right there. takes 15 min start to finish if your quick. i had an intake on my 2.5 that didnt get in the way at all. maybe if the stock air assembly was there you might need to remove part of it, prolly not though..
my buddy has been waiting all winter to change the starter in his altima, its only accessable from underneath. Its funny watching im crawl under there in a foot of snow to tap on it

glad that pic wasnt a cosmo, i was a little disappointed in the interior. now i know to not bother sit in a 929 ever.

Mine is dated 06/94, and MillyOwner's is a couple months older than that (I want to say it is 04/94), both OBD-II. Are you really sure that it was not compatible? The port is in an obscure place, and the stickers state that it is OBD-I. In almost every old post I have read through, people are convinced that there is no port, when they look in the correct place it is there. I could not find a single person who posted that they did not have a port with any evidence that it was true, and many that later found it. I am also not sure if MillyOwner has a 95 S or L, I suppose it could be something they tried on the S in early production and not the L...
Well i wont be able to confirm anything but if somehow you could read a code yourself on my old milly (95 2.5?L) I would have been a much happier owner. I was never able to get a reader to work or get anyone but the dealer to give me a code, i am not a mechanic however. My old 95 milly was also strange in that it had square ported manifold like the JDM milly.
well i pulled the codes on an obd2 reader and the codes above are the codes it puled i just finished replacing all of my vacuum lines and it runs alot better but it still dies when i come to a stop is that because of the Egr?
also when i pulled the front intercooler (or whatever it is call on a S/C) it had a lot of oil in it and a bunch of my vacuum lines have oil in them
and about the PCV valve i pulled the hose off of it and placed a filter over both ends and the car ran alot better i think most of theoil in my intake is from that stupid valve
the egr is simple to check. remove egr vac line from the egr valve and plug it...if engine condition improves then check the egr solenoids, vac lines, and the valve itself. I just finished troubleshooting this on my car.
As MTS said, shake PCV...if it rattles then its ok.
vac lines shouldnt have oil in them...they need replacing and may help source your problem.

is that a eunos cosmo?
-
my old milly, production year 1994 was not OBD2.
-
those are just adjustable springs, not true coilovers. i am sure they can not out perform the eibachs. you usually get what you pay for. nice if you want to body drop your milly show car, BHR might be interested...
-
If someone finishes this mod please let me know. i have always wanted my rear map lights to come on/fade with the doors/dome light.
-
I really don't like the fake CF, but the rings look interesting
that is REAL carbon fiber but it has no performance purpose so i understand your viewpoint. It matches the ME interior well, i wouldnt put it on all millys, the gauge rings i would however.
-
Here are the pics of the gauge rings installed with my carbon fiber bezel:
-
what the f*ck. why must the milly be used as a billboard. this is a horrifying trend..i will never eat a ruffle again.
-
the plastic and lens pop off as one piece to access the lights. first pop off the sunroof switch from the side with a flat head, then pop off the dome light panel. thats what i did.
-
Well, just got the email they are being shipped. Now to figure out how to get access to my gauges on my 2002.
uh oh... those gauge rings wont fit on the 02 gauges, as far as i can see. I will buy them off you if they dont work however.

when i saw this car, I threw up a little in my mouth and it tasted like spaghettios.
-
i will check out retrofitsource.
i can get all the parts separately but the problem is finding 9006 bulbs with the correct cable/fitting for the ballast being purchased. I can also find the phillips slim ballasts cheap, but run into the problem of connecting an ignitor and the bulb. a kit would be easiest.
-
trying to find an ALL phillips hid kit:9006 for my bro's new milly. the cheapest i can find is $550US. Seems like most places now are advertising phillips kits but only have rebased phillips bulbs and cheap generic ballast, including xenondept where i bought mine for $350, they are now kbcarstuff.com. Anyone got a good seller?
thanx.

your lucky.
she left a note.
my milly is still scarred from a dent last year, parked for 5 min. no note. 800 damage, will be fixed soon with a tiny paint bubble and rust spot on the trunk.
