The millenia was driven, at first it was odd, almost like the TCS was kicking in at 30-40% throttle in 2nd gear, but it went away, after about 40 miles the ecu relearned everthing and it was quite excellent
Hesitation from old fuel...

tow hitch? pics will be required of course....

I will be.... but of course, if I sell the beast won't be my problem. If part it out... it will be again someone's issue.

After my rebuild the other day, pulled into the driveway, and smoke was lightly ascending from the front wheel wells.... ahhhhh the smell of fresh brakes nicely heated up....

Mine goes until the light has been one for at least 20 miles or so....

Starter is a friggin' bitch to get out. lots of skinned knuckles
the starter on the 2.5 is a piece of cake however.
i just replaced a door actuator on the rear door, PITA. stevester, didnt you need to do this too?
Can you do the starter from above, or do you attack it from under? On the S it is done from above, but is much easier once the rear intercooler is removed. Maintenance manual omits that part
you take out the battery and battery tray and its right there. takes 15 min start to finish if your quick. i had an intake on my 2.5 that didnt get in the way at all. maybe if the stock air assembly was there you might need to remove part of it, prolly not though..
my buddy has been waiting all winter to change the starter in his altima, its only accessable from underneath. Its funny watching im crawl under there in a foot of snow to tap on it
Rear intercooler is all I am going to say.....

I ran the last set of Gs for nearly 1 year.... not too bad. But then again I change plugs before they need. It was a wonderful 5 hours in the driveway on Saturday. Millenia parts scattered all over the driveway. Changed the plugs, fixed the shifter linkage, re-wired my HIDs, cleaned K&N, re-did a couple vac hoses....

The Cosmo only came that way, for those years.... and if they are legal in Canada, they should be in the US. But I can guess that they are, as I have seen them for sale in Cali.

Machinist Handbook gives the limits for bolts that are torqued. I am talking industry standards, not back yard mechanics... I have re-used many a bolt. Even in this weekends major surgery, the beast lives.....
-
If torqued, bolts should only be used once, maybe twice....

It needs to push, pull and swivel.... a real techo-goof to make out of plastic... could have been a simple 1/18" solid wire loop would fix it... but need to but weld the two wires together and adjust for length...
-
Because it is a glued and pressed on POS. No replacement.... I am looking into tapping a thread onto the cable end, double female, long nut, and some type of loop threaded into it... must go to Home Depot on the way home... will fix this. I got the shift linkage from the junkyard for $30.

Do not be there no fun. But I am thinking the heat from the headers may have compromised my starter... oh well
