What a gay color. Those are almost as bad taste as a rear spoiler. The only advantage I can think of is that the disgrace is disguised with the hood closed, as opposed to the rear disgrace.

xedos - you are aware that ariel is a british company correct?
It's all about power to weight ratio, nothing more.
The Ariel Atom is about a whole lot more than power to weight ratio. It can go fast around a track. I don't see that improved with a V8. On the contrary. And it already has a good power to weight ratio. We're talking motorcycle territory.

2,5 and 2,3 are different.
-
I'm sure a heavy ass V8 would fuck up the Ariel Atom concept big time, it would take an american to figure out such a disgrace. I'd rather install a catapult seat prior to taking that thing out in US traffic.

Yup. Plus the fact driving with open windows, even a slight glip, destroys every effort the engineers have done to reduce the noise level. Personally I hate driving with open windows unless speed is sub 30 mph.
I do use the AC in eco mode when needed though. But that means the milage gets poorer of course. Like 5-10%, in my cars anyway.

Not exactly. Anyway I get 6,9 l/100 km out of my KL. But that means staying below 100 km/h, no AC and obviously windows closed.

My Xedos has coped with the sunlight, the only thing I can point out is that the leather on top of the back seat, towards the deck isn't as soft to touch as the rest of the areas. Part from that the interior is decent, just normal wear and tear for a 200k km car.
The fender damage was caused by a female member of my family. Nuff said. When I think about it, rather too much said
-
It never struck my mind sunlight filtered through glass could be harmful to a vehicle as long as temperature doesn't get beyond hot...
I'm pleased I was able to even wash my car properly before storage now that the Bimmer is officially running again. I'm however not pleased with the fender damage while the Bimmer was officially a nonrunner. Maybe I can send a claim to BMW in Germany to cover the expenses?

I have only one cat. No issues so far, currently 200k km. Here we have state inspection every second year (approved shops can do it as well). Either it passes for emissions and other things, or it doesn't. I don't think 200k should be any problem at all for the cats. Possibly every other O2 sensor but that is also rare here, as long as there are no other engine issues. As far as I'm concerned, these parts should last the car out with normal maintenance. The exhaust should smell next to nothing when the engine is warm, that is my personal emission test
-
No such luck on the Xedos, remember. No CEL either.
-
Not really. I've had the codes read only once and this was the single issue. In fact the first code ever, after 150k km. But the codes are the same as the Milly.
-
You'll have a LOT more power on low and midrange after replacement, if you have code P0325, knock sensor malfunction. By no means a torque monster, more like finally, it doesn't feel like a 1,5 litre anymore.
-
Yes, it fits, I have one. You may want to check out the replacement guide in the technical section.
-
Surely it does.

I can send a request for this item. No price listed.
Shipping overseas would be like $50 I guess.

That'll be the day.

Don't forget a generator and gas to power the carcapsule, emo boy
This site seems to attract republicans; the amount of worthless threads is totally overwhelming

I'd say this thread is above average positive.

90% performance is to be expected from resting applications, granted they work at all

Update: In the progress of testing out damper settings, starting from soft and steps of three. I can verify 45 mm lowering works reasonably well, with the front subframe just touching the tarmac on severe bumps. I can easily pass speedbumps above legal speed without issues, admittedly with less floating experience than the stock struts though. The ride is extremely flat in curves; hardly no roll at all
Anyone interested in a writeup how to extend the rear adjustment through the deck? I've got it all figured out, just need to take some pics

Common issue in unused applications.

Get rid of that damn Jeep.

Sometimes my signature pic says more than thousand words.

Are you aware my Xedos, among other things, can do gravel roads?
