You can tell a 1995 remote because it has a Mazda Logo on it. All other years do not have a Mazda Logo. You can buy the 1995 remote on ebay, but they get top dollar on them on ebay because they are scarce. Also, a few people have tried to change the keyless entry module (located behind the rear seat) from their 1995 with a later year Millenia so they could use the newer (cheaper) remotes.
