mts Posted December 4, 2006 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 All engines nowadays have knock sensors, it is a sensor that looks for KNOCK from inefficient combustion, advance or retard the the timing to avoid damage to cylinder or piston. I was leaving this thread open to see if Ren or some others had some input on the knock sensor. If not it will be soon closed, as the question was answered.
