///BHRpowered
umm no. there favored by some of hidplanet because chinks are easy to steal from and so the parts are cheap. actually hybrid projectors are clearly becoming the best. including FX hybrids. My version has not been done by anyone eles, but different shields etc. Actually the best projectors to hit the market are the ones on that new buick suv. No idea what its called but hot diggy damn, razor sharp, great color, amazing foreground. the 08 g35 bixenons are hella huge and also amazing. mts
Actually the best cutoffs I have seen in all of the rental cars I have driven, and those are many... was the Subaru Legacy 08. Much better than the Buick.
///BHRpowered
Haven't seen is on the road yet, but people are raving about the buick enclave projectors, there really are nice.
mts
I just rented the Legacy last week, and even with halogens had a beautiful cutoff... can imagine HIDs
///BHRpowered
a good halogen cutoff doesn't always translate into a great HID cutoff
mts
Was razor sharp, even with a weaker light source
mattlau89
so how are the millenia projectors? im guessin there not the best since u guys put tsx ones on and whatever else. whats the difference because im gettin HID's
DoN_BLaZe34
light output is better when you put hid projectors in the car...you can put hids in the millenia projectors...some people have done just that
mts
Hopefully the new ones have removable cutoffs, unlike the older projectors...
///BHRpowered
no, the stock 01-02 projectors actually work very well with hid kits. the only difference with OEM hid projectors is you will get more color along the cutoff and a wider beam, but it terms of actually cutoff sharpness and lack of hotspots, there actually very good. colbylamb2006
that's why I wanted to do a retrofit with TSX projectors and spend all that extra money, when indeed I can just buy a kit and put in there and no one know the difference, it'd be the same "color" that I aimed for, just cheaper
DoN_BLaZe34
in that case, just get a kit 2002
///BHRpowered
no one will know there now OEM hids if you go with 4300k, and unless you've been in a car with OEM hid's and a huge beam pattern they won't know. I installed malices hid drop in kit and sometimes I still forget there not oem, there perfect.
