latinopikachu
Does anyone know where to get them cheap? Fucking mazda thinks they're made of gold and the old ones are fucked. Can't afford to pay $300 for all 3 of the stupid covers...
///BHRpowered
You mean valve covers? How are they bad? I mean they don't really go bad. Remove, replace gasket and put the covers back on...unless you hit them with a hammer. Otherwise junkyard is your only real option. Only place youd be able to get them is a blown engine being parted out or mazda
latinopikachu
No the timing covers... for whatever reason they're all fucked to hell and chewed, they started to warp and the drive belt was rubbing against them

latinopikachu
car is still waiting on the covers, found them at a junkuard in NC for $35 each. What happeened is the idiot who did the TB last forgot to put in those spacer things that the EPC manual calls for, and didn't put on new seals instead he just cranked the shit out of them until they were on the engine so they were kinda warped, well 3 1/2 years later of heat theyve been gradually warping outward so the drive belt rubbed on them, plus all the oil seeping from the bad cam seals that previous mother fucker didn't replace, and theyre gooey and icky like taffy, they're not hard like they used to be on the parts near the belts
