enginph
Not for a student.. Thats not my thumb nowadays lol.. Rule of thumb: Spend less then what you make. Generally speaking I won't ever spend more then 70% of my income
///BHRpowered
Nope, even less when I was a student. Get a remus, period
mat@RemusExhaustShop.com
We are checking to see if Remus ever had a part number for the Millenia. We believe they had a Romulus edition of the exhaust, a higher end division of Remus. We should have that information by Monday. Price would be higher than universal. ///BHRpowered
......Your talking about just another muffler though right? Or a full cat-back exhaust, if there is an actual full cat-back 2.5" piping or higher I'll buy that on the spot regardless of price
Mase64
yea a full catback.. ill do it
mat@RemusExhaustShop.com
Full cat backs are a rare sight from Remus. It would most likely be a VERY high quality, electro polished, bolt-on muffler. Again I'll be back on Monday with more info. Here's an example of what Romulus exhausts look like. ///BHRpowered
a bolt on "axle back" exhaust would also be quite nice and save alot in labor for install.
Mase64
Theres this guy buy me that does ridiculous catback systems installations.. pretty sick i might go to him..
street3890
Wait a full catback system for the Milly?
///BHRpowered
the remus muffler itself is easy to install, but you have to get it welded on just like anything eles...unless there does turn out to be a bolt on
ChiTown
interesting.....
street3890
Is it a cat-back for the Milly???
///BHRpowered
He just said basically no. It would be an axle back I think, meaning no welding, very cheap install or you can could even install it yourself
street3890
Whats better a welded muffler or an axelback bolt on?
///BHRpowered
doesn't matter, welding is general better in terms of seal and lifespan, alot of bolt on ones are sometimes welded anyway
street3890
Yea true but that would replace the old muffler and were the one gets bolted right? and if just a universal they just cut the old muffler off and put the new one on and leave the bloted part on right?
///BHRpowered
not bolted, it would be connected by the pipes, and then use the same factory hangers. its simple for an exhaust shop whichever way, but I'm pretty sure there is only the universal muffler, so it makes it easy to decide
street3890
yea true!!!
///BHRpowered
Actually I do have a crappy sound clip, its just a cell phone video from maybe 2 years ago?
