SteveSter
I was just looking around for rotors and found these on brakeworld.com and they have them for front and rear on all the Millenias. They are kinda expesive though. $245 Front Pair $210 Rear Pair -Steven
SteveSter
Just found some info: “Disc Italia is widely recognized as one of the world's highest quality racing brake rotor manufacturers. They are made from unique high carbon steel castings which reduce noise, and vibrations caused by the brake system, and are manufactured to the strictest tolerances. There drilled and slotted cast rotors provide a bold, aggressive appearance which complement vehicles running open style wheels. The bi-chamfered holes help prevent stress cracking which occur in lower quality rotors, and improve air circulation throughout the brake disc; this allows for the disc to operate at cooler temperatures than a traditional brake rotor. By keeping the braking area cooler it prevents the pad from being overstressed and from becoming overheated which would ultimately lead to brake fade. The slots channel away water during wet weather driving, and remove any excess carbon deposits from the surface of the brake pads. The end result is a rotor that outperforms and outlasts the competition while providing smooth, consistent braking throughout the life of the rotor. Disc Italia brake rotors are compatible with stock calipers, and pads, and do not require any special modification to install.” Not bad. -Steven
///BHRpowered
Thats not expensive at all, the only thing is that the ebay ones are so cheap and such poor quality that people think anything else is overpriced, well its not DECENT rotors should be 200 dollars or more per axle, on my m3 it was like 400 dollars an axle for x-drilled and silver plated. enginph
I havent seen any high end rotors that have holes and slots. Forget what they wrote about themselves, they would put spiral air vent if they really wanna cool it down without decreasing the friction surface. And holes removing water, idk hard to believe. They wont be any water when you brake hard..
SteveSter
Yea true I guess I cant base quality through some ebay rotors. Anyways I think these would be my next rotors. They sound good. Only 3 slots per rotor. -Steven
///BHRpowered
years and millions upon millions of dollars have gone into braking development, they know what there doing. and if you don't notice a very large difference in braking in the rain then your just not paying attention
