///BHRpowered
for a daily driver just use the meguiers step 2, then some wax, step 3, or gold class, or nxt Microfiber really isn't that good for waxing, but most so on darker cars, I stick to ultra plush terry clothes, then once I'm DONE waxing, I use a a microfiber towel to get all the lint off the car. millySHID
i saw you guys talking about the idle is fine, since i had my car worked on by some mechanic out of town, its been flirting with stalling, and i need to keep the rear defroster on to keep the idle up and im worried that when i shut it off the idle will go back down to the 0 and my car will stall, dont want that to happen!! and yeah, i like the pics, the chrome rims are nice, i looked at a 00' milly S and it was rusted to shit and they wanted 6500 with more k's then you got, good pick up!! ///BHRpowered
I don't understand how people can let cars rust, my millenia is flawless, but even my Jeep which see's hard trails, snow salt, and rocks scraping the bottom it still doesn't rust, in the fall and in the spring I get underneath, clean it off with some engine brite and its good to go. SteveSter
Isnt there an idle adjustment screw on the TB?
millySHID
i wish i knew, and i dont mean to rag on your new purchase, and a good purchase at that, but i saw the idle thing and i thought i'd ask...i honestly dont know, i wouldnt know where to begin to look, even if it was at 500-1000 rpm's i'd be happy, but its barely pushing 100 without the rear defroster on, with it on, maybe 350-400 which isnt bad
///BHRpowered
I don't see how having the rear defroster on would make any difference...if anything its a semi heavy electrical draw and would take power from the engine
millySHID
I have no idea, all I know is that having the rear defroster on brings the idle rpm up
///BHRpowered
My millenia idles at around 600-650rpms, the engine probably brings the revs up to keep it going with something that draws a good amount of power. Vacuum line perhaps?
SteveSter
I idle at about 600 flat. You have no error codes? If it was the TPS it would throw a code. Wait a minute do you have a 2.5 or an S? And BHR why dont you move these last few post into a new thread so more people chime in about it. millySHID
I have an S, the only way to go! All the vacuum lines are in good condition, and in order, i'm confused with the miller cycle engine. My mom's benz is way easier to figure out and im not even a fan of the benz
SteveSter
Ok well then its time to do some exploring, take off the MCE cover and the rear intercooler duct. Now using common sense look on and around the throttle body for a screw that looks as though it may adjust the idle by slightly opening the throttle plate a bit. I am not sure if the MCE has it or not but my 2.5 had it and it couldnt have been any easier to adjust.
enginph
There is a screw look carefully to IAC valve. However turning the screw will do nothing. ECU controls the idle not the screw. By adjusting the screw you can just change the range of air amount ECU can apply through IAC valve. To really change the idle rev you should first put the car to a special mode that Ren explained in couple posts.. The question for bhr is if he ever turned the rear defrost on? It idles almost at 750 rpm on P and 650-700 on D depending on the charge in s/c.
///BHRpowered
I would think its all in the ECU...must be a vacuum line somewhere

colbylamb2006
I don't believe in a lot of stickers, before I came to UGA, i had a "G" above my brakelight, then I got a John McCain/Sarah Palin sticker, that is a must, and then I just got a University of Georgia strip decal. I want a MW.net decal how much? and how do I pay for it?
millySHID
Mccain sticker? youre crazy. Obama can change the US, Mccain will do what bush does. POW's aren't going to change anything, they're going to make it worse
enginph
Yeah that. Put mccain to rear right and obama to rear left. Cover the bumper with stickers so it wont scratch.
millySHID
I do agree however with the MW.net decals though, i wouldnt mind picking them up as well. How do i get em?
///BHRpowered
I would never put a bumper sticker on the paint All I have is my american university decal...which has been there for atleast 6 years, and a MW/net on each side PM frankzao - he had them made up and I believe has extras mccain - good choice, palin - If I wanted a porn star to host a playboy alumni party sure, should have been with liberman obama - clearly no, if however they had someone with even a hint of experiance, a clue, wasn't a sidestepping jackass "he wears 400 dollar shoes but I take 300k vacations just after moving into a 5 million dollar house"
