mts
Mazda to Sell NR-A Model Roadster in Japan - Roadster NR-A race specification model is the standard model for Roadster One Make races in Japan - Mazda Motor Corporation commenced sales of the NR-A version Mazda Roadster at its Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealers throughout Japan in early April. The new NR-A model Roadster is based on the all-new third generation Roadster that underwent a complete redesign and was launched in 2005. The Roadster is known as the MX-5 in overseas markets. Employing special equipment on the new Roadster NR-A model - height-adjustable Bilstein dampers, a torque-sensing 'Super LSD' (limited-slip differential) and front strut tower bars - makes this exciting new model more suitable for sporty driving. The new NR-A model was designed to participate in the "Roadster Party" One Make races in Japan. These events are organized by the Japan NR-A Race Association and sponsored by Mazda. The new NR-A model Roadster will participate in the races from September 2006

mts
The US by far has a larger poor quotient than that of Japan.... and truth be told there is almost a new car launch every 6 months over there to satiate the commercial upgrade hunger of the Japanese.... not over here. And the US is not the first to get technological items first.... they are far from the first. Europe gets most stuff long before it comes oversees...
