Green Millenia L noise Green Millenia L noise 2 ???? ideas? UPDATE - Problem was a loose timing belt. Lifters were fine. H2O pump, timing belt, pulleys, tensioners all replaced. ing-schu@online.no Posted September 26, 2011 Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 I believe the tapping is too frequent to be a collapsed lifter; then it would have to be several collapsed lifters. It sounds like the sound plans out on higher revs, which could possibly indicate a bad cam friction gear spring.
