street3890
How do u intend i get the water out of the throttle body? Where can i shoot air through? Where is the valve cover instructions?
street3890
I fear it may be done for good! Water def got into the cylinders, the pistons may have fused to the bottle!
street3890
body* not bottle lol i shot air through each spark plug hole and the throttle bottle
///BHRpowered
they shouldn't be easy to move and wouldn't fuse, only real issues are if pistons slaps cylinders and or you got some rust in there. Which is why you need to get it dry, spray some oil in and hand crank it, slowly. Â If its in the throttle body get some papertowels and jam it down as far as you can. Â With the spark plugs out you can reach the cylinders, my advice would be to get a small hose or even straw. Stick it down and suck out any water in there. Â Seriously, its very very unlikely that its done more. Fuel injection also probably helps, the only way people ruin engines with water is when it doesn't stall out, you hear a loud bang, some thumps and then nothing. street3890
I didnt hear any loud thumps....how do i hand crank it?!?
///BHRpowered
Put a wrench on balancer/crankshaft pulley (big one at the bottom, use belt changing guide for reference) I forget what size bolt but using a big ass wrench turn it like your trying to tighten a bolt down (so pull towards you) It won't be super easy, but assuming you have a breakerbar size wrench it will move. Â *Before* you do that make sure all the water is out and let it dry. Get that oil out and see how much water is in it - leave off drain plug and just let anything that needs to drain, drain

street3890
Ok, so its come down to this...I don't have the time, money or experience to try and fix this myself...the insurance company is giving me $1300 for the car and they are also letting me keep it...I am offering this to anybody, if you would like the car I will sell it to you!! It does not run....My buddy was gonna buy it off me if he could find an engine at a reasonable price but he can't find any for a good price...the engine is worth more then the car...let me know if any of you would want it.....body is in ok shape, except for a dent on the roof which i have no idea how it got there! Also have a Remus and Chi-towns CAI -Thank you for all your help and support, I really wish it didnt have to be like this but I already sank enough money into this car. I love my milly and will miss her, but I know you guys are the ones who should have it!

///BHRpowered
Wtf, its worth alot more then that, even if keeping it. Â You do NOT need a new engine. Damn it... Â Although if the water sat in there for extended periods of time and began to rust cylinder walls thats another story. Â Ponder this I must
Frankzao
ponder yes!!!!!!
Troutman
And what precisely is our Good Lord pondering?
///BHRpowered
If its just been sitting without treatment the engine could now be ruined not due to hydrolock but due to lack of work on it.
Frankzao
but how much water got into the cylinders?
street3890
To us the car is worth a lot more!! But in the car world a millenia s with 130+ k miles in running condition is only like $3400....It's out of my hands now...i tried telling people what you told me that the engine wasn't busted, I got as much water out as I could when it happened. I'm way too un-experienced to take this engine apart with or without a guide! I'm sorry it has to come to this...my dad wants the car gone in a week or two so if any of you want it let me know!!!! ///BHRpowered
After you got all that extra water out, you know the water that the professional mechanic "couldn't find" did you put in fresh oil and try starting it?
