///BHRpowered
I believe research has shown difference of 150-170hp stock. Very heavy car for that small of an engine.
Troutman
Torque is far more important than power.
latinopikachu
I will never consider a 4-pot Audi. When I had a bad coil and misfire with a blinking CEL, the shake was nothing compared to the healthy Audi idling. It runs like its gonna fall apart anytime. awwwwwwwwwwwwwww..... that happened to me twice and i never want to feel my miller running like that again. poor thing........... There are 4pots around which are reasonably smooth. But they never SING like a welldesigned six. Read straight, 60 degree V or boxer. Any other configuration is a compromize either for space saving (like Vastewagen VR6) or lowered production cost 90 degrees due to V8 production lines (like Audi and GM for example). These need a balancer shaft to go smooth.
Troutman
No argument from me. I enjoyed driving the Mitsubishi Lancer but dear God what an uninspiring engine note, especially with the CVT. What a classic phrasing. I invite MTS' commentary.
