DoN_BLaZe34
he almost made two people..but we won't talk about that... anyway i wonder if warden will get some..
///BHRpowered
who the fuck is warden? arson is s still a whiny little bitch who should have read teh tos he agreed to before his account was even active. as for this new bulb Are these higher powered LEDS? It seems to be that the tower design would still best ber suited unless these were aimmed backwards somehow, or atleast the first level of LED's very near or touching the base for maximun spread in addition, I have never once had a problem with any other bulbs anywhere on the car, and my entire rear end is led's. all brake lights, turn signals, license plate lights, my only difference between most people is I have the stock spoiler, which has built in LED's. LED's in the shifter light, front map lights (but not center overhead) gauges, but thats about it. My only problem is the cruise control
DoN_BLaZe34
he sells leds on ebay u should give them a try bh.. ur cruise control doesn't work?
///BHRpowered
where have you been, I thought your didn't work either. my cruise control light will come on, but no matter what the car won't do it. I'm pretty damn sure its the brake lights, I have load resistors on the turns so I doubt its them, and I used the cruise several times before milly installed my guage lads
DoN_BLaZe34
no i knew u were having issues before..i didn't know if u had figured out the reason..so i was asking if it still wasn't working... anyway, mine works now...but i also don't have leds in the car anymore
///BHRpowered
I cannot seem to find a way to fix it, my next try is load resistors on some of hte brake lights
DoN_BLaZe34
yeah that may work..
mts
It just needs to have a constant load on the system, then the rest of the system will be happy.
///BHRpowered
what I can't understand is if this were the case you would think it only wouldn't work at night, yet the cruise will not work during the day when the lights are off as well
mts
Maybe there is a small voltage going through as a sensing voltage... not enough to fire the filaments though?
Troutman
In other news, Velocity have a well-priced competing product. And they now make H3 replacement LED bulbs, albeit somewhat useless 1 watt items. Probably a concept with an exciting future though.
mts
INTERESTING. might order these ones..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-VELOCIT...70838QQtcZphoto
DoN_BLaZe34
trout which do u think are better? superlumination's or velocity's?
mts
Yes, I like 's opinion too.
DoN_BLaZe34
he seems to be an expert on leds
mts
That he does.... I value his opinion on them... The one that he sent that worked is still installed and is sweet... I still have to get another... or get the posted ones.
///BHRpowered
superlumination tends to have better products, velocity offeres cheaper versions, but are not always exactly the same. the only led's I'v ever had problems with seem to be in guage clusters of my jeeps, my old 194's were giving me some trouble, and now 1 of my #74's acts up sometimes when first turn on. this has enver happened in the millenia however, I can only assume because in the jeeps it receives the extra heat from the heating vents not fully sealed next to it that this is the case. I'm still searching for a true 921 tower
mts
Still?
Troutman
MTS, if you are wanting indicator bulbs, be sure to get 1156 not 1157, otherwise modification would be required. Don, Autoluminations would be a bit better due to using flux-type LEDs, but at more than double the price I think the Velocity is a much better buy. I too await Warden getting on board
mts
LB1156UW LB1157UW These need more research.... http://www.lightlens.com/coloredbulbs.htm
mts
Somebody just ordered two sets of 1157 and one 1156.... for the brakes and reverse
///BHRpowered
are you kidding, those look like ultra rice bulbs
mts
Halogen (ultra rice?) at 50W per? Are you mad? They will look like the true Autobahn tail lamps that DO not come on cars in North America. and I won't have cruise control issues either...
Troutman
Hold on, you ordered blue bulbs for brake lights?
mts
They are coated blue to make the white... as halogen are always yellow incandescents... but like my 100W Streetglow fogs.... maybe will light up the back of the car for all the idiots to see so they do not rear end me... they are 50W halogens.
