DoN_BLaZe34
I'm thinking it's time to change them, but I'm not sure what I should get. I'm almost certain I'll go with NGK's, but can't decide between the Platinums or the Iridiums What do you guys think? Thanks in advance

DoN_BLaZe34
what's the difference in the various platinum plugs?
///BHRpowered
how long they last more or less
DoN_BLaZe34
Why did u go with platinums bh? so between these iridiums and these platinums you would go with the platinums?
///BHRpowered
some people have claimed problems with the iridium. I decided to play it safe with just a slight upgrade, I think the exact model were the laser platinums.
MazdaMomma
I went with platinum ones as well when I changed the spark plugs

enginph
Double platinum = laser platinum. The most expensive one.. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/products/spar...er_platinum.asp
MazdaMomma
I will search my milly file and see if I still have the receipt.
Jdubs99
Had the Iridiums for more than a year with no problems. Cheaper than the OE by a longshot for some reason.
///BHRpowered
well of course I bought the most expensive one. Plugs on the millenia are a royal pain in the ass, so I'll take the 60k plugs
mts
They are about a 4 hour job, with taking time to clean the nooks and crannies on the top of the engine.
///BHRpowered
when plat did mine it was probably around 3 hours, and he had done it several times. Jeep 4.0 - 40 minutes when taking your time for plugs and wires.
mts
Yes, 3 hours easy... but I clean my engine religiously when taking it apart...
///BHRpowered
as do I, when I installed the CAI I found some new areas to clean. Plat however just went in and did it, no cleaning as I was busy working with malice's HID's. on a semi related note, I have searched the entire country, only 2 confirmed 01-02 Silver S's with grey interior. 3 I cannot confirm but look like 2.5's or in gold. of the 2, one has hella miles, and the other...only 40k....but its a crappy cell phone pic of it in boulder co in the snow. ///BHRpowered
indeed. I want an 01-02 silver S, grey interior, not some jackass who thinks its silver when tis really gold. under 75k at the very most, but would perfer under 60k, no sunroof vent perferred, stock rims, tires and brake condition do not matter. Renboy
Fuck that, plastic bag over distributor, simple green sprayed everywhere, let sit 5-10min., then pressure wash everything. 10min and a smoke brake and it's done.
///BHRpowered
ren's old skool.

Bahahahaha..... or even better... go to the pressure washer bays, switch to Wheel/Tire Cleaner, spray down the engine.... then rinse. Works a dream on older engines... then all of the built up grease runs down their drain instead of your driveway.
Renboy
All the places here have cameras...just for that reason.
