It should work with the 2.5 at least... 2.0 is too lacking in torque for a car of that size. A manual 2.3 would have genuine appeal, but who says the box would handle the torque?

The manual from a mx6 will bolt up to a 2.3, this I know. And it can take up to ~330whp before you have problems with stripped 3rd and 5th gears. Although it's not a great tranny, I'd give it more of a chance than the stock auto.

 

BHR, the rx8 is a rwd rotary. I highly doubt the tranny would bolt up, and if by some lucky chance it did, you'd have a lot more customiztion to do to make the milly a rwd vehicle.

A Millenia with diesel engine never were produced. But if there were a state of the art 2,0 diesel with todays technology (read BMW) it would smoke the Miller cycle. No kidding.

 

We've been through this before. The 2,0 5-speed wouldn't be concidered a fast car. But not a slow car either. By european standard, just about average performance. 0-100 km/h in 10,7 sec. Or 2,5 auto territory.
