///BHRpowered
So now I have my first actual problem with a millenia, not so much a problem as it drives me crazy. Drivers side window goes just a bit slower then passenger side, annoying but ok My problem is that when going down it sounds like muffled nails on a chalk board, when the window is going up its still a bit slow but doesn't make the noise, its really starting to get to me since I always drive with the windows down. I tried some WD-40 in the side track which helped ALITTLE but only last a few days. Any ideas of where else to lube and or fixes?
latinopikachu
the G'old Beast used to do that. It is probably a slightly dry bearing in the regulator.
Frankzao
does this mean he drives it every day?
latinopikachu
no it means his window is worn out because he never ever EVER uses the AC as he has told us, letting dirt and dust infiltrate his interior

///BHRpowered
there is no dirt or dust, actually its done it for a few years, I think I just noticed it more rolling the window down while inside the carcapsule Any idea WHICH bearing or procedure for greasing? mts
Take the door apart and have an adventure. It is probably more likely the window guide rails that are dry and squealing.
///BHRpowered
I had the door panel off and everything recently for a speaker, couldn't see any decent way to access them

///BHRpowered
umm, yes it does, its annoying, but it comes off, of you could be smart and just peel it away the right way, when I replaced the window regulator in a Jeep it all had to come off. mts
It sure does come off.... all over your clothes
ing-schu@online.no
I'm with MTS on this one. Apply a modest amount of silicone grease (not spray) inside the sliding rails and operate the window untill it runs smooth. Use a cloth wrapped around a screwdriver or something to apply it. Concentrate on areas where the window goes a certain distance. For best access remove the door panel. The bitumen based glue is sticky for sure, but serves a very important role. Plastic left with holes or unstuck somewhere (bottom in particular) when remounting the door panel can result in water leaks into the interior on cars being used. ///BHRpowered
incorrect, I have no reason to work on it since it has no plans to be driven right now with the heat and hippies I'm simply bored off my ass

///BHRpowered
playstation is an inferior bootleg stolen redheaded step child, garbage, xbox is just a piece of shit trying to get into the market, and even if the controls, hardware, software, interface, and functions weren't ass retarded stupid, it will never be as good as nintendo because microsoft does not own the rights to any of the great games and or sporting games. SteveSter
Well out of PS3 and Xbox, ill take the PS3 anyday. Thats what I have and it great on boring days. The nintendo Wii is more for little kids and it is fun to a point.
///BHRpowered
incorrect, timeless, though it cannot match SNES
ing-schu@online.no
I can't see neither PS3 nor Wii making your windows go smooth. Get your ass moving if you want to maintain credibility for having the best Millenia in existance. The best Millenia/ Xedos 9 / Eunos 800 award has since long gone to Portugal so you'd better roll up your sleeves.
