Arsonist
I'm thinking of putting black rims on my milly and paint the calipers red. I would match nicely with my pearl white... what do you fools think?
Synesthesia
are you seriously trying to ask what I think of black rims, I'm down for the red calipers provided you paint the back of the pads so it all flows
Arsonist
It's just a thought that caught my eye. I'll probably photoshop a picture later so see how It would look.
Synesthesia
when I get back home I can dig up some pictures of pure red calipers
excluesiveonez
would look sick... but only thin 5 spokers

mts
Black rims are sweet, saw a Volvo the other day, as you described... white with black rims and red calipers... HOT1
Synesthesia
god damn it, why would you want to look lazy, only lazy people wait 8 months to clean there brake dust. I want you should upgrade to the 99-02 S rims
Arsonist
I don't like those rims. They look nice, but too mediocre-stockish. I want some high-profile stock look.
DoN_BLaZe34
lol i don't think black rims qualify as high profile stock looking rims...but i think they might look good... what does everyone think of me getting black rims dammit
///BHRpowered
I think its a horrible idea. arson, I think you should look into some 18" ADR kasai, I believe they are what you are looking for, I know if i ever decided to change rims I would go with them in polished silver
Arsonist
lol i don't think black rims qualify as high profile stock looking rims...but i think they might look good... Most of the times when Brabus mods a high profile Merc, they put black rims on them and they look sweet and pretty stock-ish. Like the Brabus CLS... but yeah, it's just an idea...I like the kind of rims Brabus puts on cars... and yeah BHR, those Brabus rims do look like ADR kasai haahaha
Synesthesia
umm not really, 5 spoke split styler with "true" star design (spokes get smaller exiting from larger central area) I'v actually never been a fan of brabus stuff...but I do like the cls amg
Arsonist
Yes, there's a few differences between the Brabus rims and the ADR, but they're very similar. Oh I love Brabus. They're geniouses.
Synesthesia
can I just have the cls and leave the rims behind?
DoN_BLaZe34
those rims look painted in the first pic...
mts
god damn it, why would you want to look lazy, only lazy people wait 8 months to clean there brake dust. I want you should upgrade to the 99-02 S rims That is like saying a black milly is lazy and unclean.... gloss black rims are hot and clean looking.... especially when matching the paint. I would never go flat black, might as well run steels...
Synesthesia
.....not at all the same. a paint job that looks like you could swim in highlighted by chrome and a crystal clear reflection all around looks NOTHING like just plain black rims, which even brand new due to the shadow ofthe wheel weel will never shine
excluesiveonez
i would love those 6 (split spoke) brabus wheels on my g35.. they are one of my fav designs
mts
I like 5 spokes, with wide bars.
///BHRpowered
I must concur with MTS, I'm generally a 5 spoke kind of guy, except for the m, not sure why but they look really out of place on that
mts
Yes they do... need the deep, staggered look on the M
DoN_BLaZe34
i just don't like how black rims look in motion...not as appealing as chromes are
mts
I am the opposite, sir.... I cannot stand the reflection of the chrome on everything beside....
