Frankzao
So why get 95-96 lenses fir HIDS?
///BHRpowered
they have projectors in them after much debate and research, the xedos headlights really are not that different from the 95-96 lenses. there just made of glass and maybe a slightly bigger projector, would frankly could be a problem if you wanted to retrofit
Frankzao
So I could just take my 95 lenses and add the HIDs like in the Russian pic?
DoN_BLaZe34
yes Frank, you can do just that
mts
INdeed you can Frank.... and just ignore the BHR's ignorant comments to follow.
///BHRpowered
correct frank, a very easy retrofit
mts
are you not going to hate upon the cheap drop in kits? SOME ONE CALL A DOCTOR....
///BHRpowered
no, adding HID's is a retrofit, as you will note in my post, I said "a very easy retrofit" if your going to do drop in's then 4300k in 95-96 lenses are far superior in terms of performance and looks then in 97-00 lenses, but no god damn rice colors. if frank attends MWM08 he should bring his lenses and I will perform a retrofit free of charge. mts
Just get 4300K drop ins.... they are made for almost ANY bulb base.
///BHRpowered
9006 is quite common
Frankzao
So bulbs and kit are separate? Hmm....
///BHRpowered
not usually. all you need are 95-96 lenses, some 2.5" lense projectors (most low beam only projectors) and an hid kit. if you go with a drop in you need 9006, if you go with a retrofit you'll need D2S

So bulbs and kit are separate? Hmm.... If you're talking about what I think you are, the kit includes 'bulbs', however you have to specify the type that you want as there are many. ///BHRpowered
depends what you want I would personally recommend some Valeo ECE projectors
