enginph
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automotive_li...anding_lamps.29 Nighttime standing-vehicle conspicuity to the front is provided by "front position lamps",[15] known as "parking lamps" or "parking lights" in North America,[5] and "front sidelights" in British English.[19] Despite the UK term, these are not the same as the sidemarker lights described below. The front position lamps may emit white or amber light in North America;[5] elsewhere in the world they must emit only white light.[15] Colloquial city light terminology for front position lamps[20] derives from the practice, formerly adhered to in cities like Moscow, London and Paris, of driving at night in built-up areas using these low-intensity lights rather than headlamps.[21] It is now illegal in many countries to drive a vehicle with parking lamps illuminated, unless the headlamps are also illuminated. The UK briefly required Dim-Dip lights, described below, in an attempt to optimise the level of light used at night in built-up areas. Some should add to that wiki what BHR calls them and refer to this thread. PS. Got the cheap ebay kit, waiting for the harness from HK. ///BHRpowered
So what your sayingis that your turning on your MARKER lights to MARK where the car is. Not thatthis really does anything since you can't fully tell anyway. Just look at the damn window, parking isn't a completed task...atleast not for most. Zao just leaves his lights on and lets the autoshut off kick in, like an animal. BHR refuses to use auto lights, and especially those fucking auto wipers. ///BHRpowered
Don't like ABS, and on the jeep when offroading I do infact pull the fuse. plus thats safety, which is slightly different, I do think traction control should always have a 100% off button, but things that are just lazy is stupid. if its raining put your wipers on, if it gets dark turn your headlights on, when it actually gets dark and not 36 hours before because a single shadow is on the road, fucking hate that. -and on topic those autoheadlight systems cause damage to hid headlights by engaging under overpasses/tunnels etc then shutting back down. Your sitting there driving how many damn things are you doing.
