Troutman
What do you mean smear, with Gold Class one just has to wipe it multiple times with progressively finer towels.
///BHRpowered
I hate rainx, I do however claybar and wax my windshield, not only does this perserve the lifespan of the blades, but it keeps things from sticking, making them easer to wipe away (such as road grime in the rain) also the water will bead, and at highspeeds simply be blown off, its actually a pretty surreal experiance at very very high speed with the wipers off, almost like being in a timewarp. also you don't need to use your wipers as much, with a crap windshield the water will flaten and obstruct view, when it beads you can still see out unless your retarded. even in extreme downpour where most people would pull off, that is the only time I use my wipers on "on" the rest of the time they are on delay, period. These fuckers with there wipers on high when its sprinkling, etching there glass, burning out motors etc, pimp smack them.
mts
Your disdain for RainX is based on what? I mean you could do as a LOT of race car drivers do and use Pledge
///BHRpowered
I have not tried pledge, but hear good things. rain-x I simplye find to be a bunch of shit, there "never fog" shit for inside was horrible, and I mean horrible, I had a pair of wiper blades that fell apart apart a single use on the trail (as oppose to atleast a year), and I once washed my old jeep with there car wash&wax becauses its all I had on hand offsite, didn't clean, didn't wax. mts
I do NOT use the anti-fog or the wipers, they are both CRAP. But the exterior window treatment is the most awesome thing since the Millenia was launched. I have used Pledge, put still prefer the RainX (yellow bottle)

Troutman
Most cars built after 1893 should have a defogger anyway.
///BHRpowered
I have complained about the anti0fog many times before I question replacing the wipers on the millenia, when I went in for an oil change they suggested I change, but I don't drive in the rian? mts
Not sure what planet you are on, I have never had streaks on the windshields of my cars and I have been using RainX on cars since you got raped in junior high....

///BHRpowered
frank, did you ever do a compression test? I'm rather pissed since I had the chance to buy that 00 red ME for only 1600 which run like crap and had 0300 random misfire, I was told he thought there was no compression, if it was jsut a plug I would be most upset
Frankzao
I did not. I may next time I have to get to the #3 cylinder, but since that is not likely any time soon, I'll probably forget. Car runs great though. Does make we wonder about the red ME
///BHRpowered
I would be most upset if thats all it needed, beyond that all it needed was a new exhaust since some idiot backed the muffler into a curb and bent the pipe a bit.
Frankzao
you should have tested it yourself to see how bad it was.
