enginph
Those didnt fit to either gauges or doors: warden.. This one did fit with a hot spot:
Troutman
They're both 194s so should fit both really. I'm using the heatsink one on my doors at this time, it hasn't been bad for what it is.
enginph
They're both 194s so should fit both really. I'm using the heatsink one on my doors at this time, it hasn't been bad for what it is. It is 2-3mm longer than what can fit there. Same story for doors. Troutman
Weird, yours should be the same. I definitely know that the ultra powerful 25-LED ones don't fit.
enginph
ultra powerful 25-LED ones What the, you tried to put fog LEDs to gauge?
Troutman
I use these 194s as parkers and map lights... insanely powerful for what they are, but won't even come close to fitting in tigher applications like door lights. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2pcs-501-W5W-25-SMD...oQQcmdZViewItem
enginph
Maps? How? We used this one, very good output for $5.80 sh incl. And this goes to dome:
Troutman
Yeah I got something similar for the dome, the Eunos 500 uses 194s for map lights but I'm not sure about the Milly as I never changed mine.
enginph
Got it. What did you put to doors? and gauges (as 194)?
Troutman
For gauges I have the 3-LED #74 you should see higher up on this page, plus regular 5-LED 194s (the older non-SMT ones) which are amply bright. The gauges are the same as the Millenia so this would work for you... For doors I'm using the high power 194 with heatsink you posted earlier. Yes there's a hotspot but it works... enginph
You mean hotspot on the door or on the gauge? Who cares the hotspot on the door but the cluster matters..
Troutman
Nah the gauges have no hotspot... the 5-LED I am using can't can't be bought from Warden any more but I'm sure the replacement would fit just as well.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2pcs-501-W5W-Refrac...oQQcmdZViewItem
enginph
Same as we have. I bought from warden as well.. 26mm length..
Troutman
26 mm is 1mm smaller than a stock 194 according to Autolumination. ///BHRpowered
I don't like LED's in the doors of the millenia, but I do think ill try the 3-led ones

///BHRpowered
in my guages I have the older style, BUT. I have decided to test out some of the new 194 single led wide beam bulbs, along with the 3-led #
enginph
I have decided to test out some of the new 194 single led wide beam bulbs, along with the 3-led #74 If you are referring to this one, it has hot spots..
Troutman
I'd only use like with like personally, that means old fashioned 5-LED 194s with 3-LED #74s. If you found a high power #74 then the high power 194s might suit. You won't find much, if anything, that is not a cold white colour. It happens the Eunie had blue-tinted bulbs stock anyway so it is no problem here.
///BHRpowered
saint, yes, I'm referring to that one, normally I wouldn't use it, but don wants it for his 3rd stop light, where there will be multiply bulbs next to each other shining only directly backwards, so these would work perfectly. DoN_BLaZe34
i had the older style ones in my 3rd brake light, but one burnt out, so i took them all out...they filled the area nicely though, i must say in actuality bh, i'd much rather have the SMT 25 tower 194 for my 3rd brake light..i'm just concerned they won't fit in there
///BHRpowered
you only need backwards directional light through? fuck the people in front of you, what do they need to see your brake lights for
Troutman
They wouldn't see it anyway if it's rearward facing.
MazdaMomma
yeah, really
DoN_BLaZe34
true, but the forward lights in the small area would make for more uniform light
